Color:Gold Polished Scale cubes used for taking pictures and photographs of meteorites, geology, plants, or anything where you need an object in the picture as a reference for size and/or direction. They are made of Stainless Steel. Properly cared for they should last a lifetime. They come in , PVD (18 K gold), PVD (Black which is made of Titanium Nitrile and Aluminum) You can get them as either shiny (polished) or matte (brushed) finishes. All letters have a dot showing the bottom of the letter. Scale cubes are used for a variety of purposes, used in geologic (meteorites) pictures taken in the field, in a photo studio, and as a reference in photographs where the size of an object would not otherwise be known. Very nice 1 inch cube scale! Perfect for presenting anything of size in a photograph!No need for using pocket change or currency bills to relate to. Even dice sizes vary.Live this item. Also perfect for museum’s to present items in a catalog along with a centimeter cube scale! Best scalecube for field and studio!
High quality product, scratch resistant surface, good mass to stay in place for field photos. I have one for three years that still looks brand new - and I use It in numerous photos almost every day in my business. The cloth drawstring pouch is a nice value added bonus to store your scalecube in.

Great for botany, entomology, geology, jewelry, and collectibles!
This one-inch cube is perfect for showing the scale of small objects in a professional, appealing way. It doesn’t matter whether I want to show free-central placentation of Lysimachia arvensis, or fine gold jewelry, or cute collectibles for resale – this one cube is precise and pretty enough for them all. It has concentric circles to help the camera focus, so I’m confident I’ll get a crisp image every time. This cube is plenty durable enough to take with me in the field. Love it!
