7/0 and 8/0 great for river catfish
I got the size 8/0 for cat fishing the Mississippi River near St. Louis arrived quickly to me it’s carbon steel with a mild coating great price and size for cut fresh bluegills for cats 7/0 and 8/0 is perfect size quality is definitely there but the eyes are not butted shut so you have to snell your hooks like you should for large fish and strong current traditional knot will slip down and cut into the line from the gap but that is not a problem or defect you just have to use different knot techniques I’m very pleased with this product I used shit quality in the past didn’t know till these hooks arrived lol

Seemed small for an 8.
They’re not as big as my other 8o hooks. Not sure to be honest how they measure that so I’m not saying they’re the wrong size. I am saying I was disappointed in the size of the hook. I’ll keep them and use them they appear to be good strong hooks. Just not what I thought I was getting and that may be an error on my part. Won’t order them again at that size. Haven’t actually put them in the water yet so I can’t comment any further on their performance.

great hooks well worth the money
I love the tips of these hooks the point is cut more at an angle allowing easier pentatration and it will actually keep the point sharp longer before mustad I would spend twice as much or the same for gamesuku expecting higher price better hook I was wrong I only used one of there 8/0 circle hooks 4 times and it was so dull it wouldn't even poke a hole in a zip lock bag I don't know how it happened but I then used another with the same result after about five uses so not even a months use of work dull there point isn't angled allowing the point to be more exposed to rocks and logs is what I believe I still haven't fully Gave up on them but am definetly a mustad fisherman
