Expensive disappointing purchase
This book contains beautiful photographs and a history of Jonas. It was not at all what I was expecting. If youโre wanting any kind of advice or instruction on fine upholstery, this is not the book you need. Very overpriced with little real substance. It is a beautifully photographed book, however. I would not purchase again.

and Daniel Romualdez - such inspiring rooms by some of the industry's best.
I've been in the interior design industry for 3 decades -- and always appreciate a book that shines a behind-the-scenes light on the vendors that help design professionals realize their aesthetic vision. So many of my friends are represented in the book - congratulations Glenn Gissler, Victoria Hagan, David Easton, and Daniel Romualdez - such inspiring rooms by some of the industry's best.

Buyer beware
Embarrassing self promotion for an over-priced under-par furniture line. The book, like the company it promotes, not worth the money.

Inspirational
I enjoyed this book enormously. It was great to glimpse behind the scenes of such a celebrated upholsterer. And Don Freeman's images are practically frameable. I lent my copy to a friend who was blocked about how to upholster her sofa and in search of inspiration and it did the trick.

A beautiful look at a third-generation, old-world business
Exquisite, atmospheric images by Don Freeman give a behind the scenes look at Old-World upholstery, which is fascinating.
