Tried, tried again, the end.
OK, so I read how great everyone thinks these are and I thought I should try them to help save the environment from using plastic wrap. They are pretty. They are waxy. They don't really have a smell. They don't work. Period. I tried, really I did. I tried to wrap one around an open cut cheese. You have to fold the thing over the end, then try to keep it folded down tight, and the wrap would not stick to itself in order to form a seal. So I had to place my cheese brick with the wrap on, inside the fridge, with other items pressing up against it to hold the wrap down from opening up. Then I tried on a bowl. It won't hold down on the sides of the bowl to seal it. Worst part is, with no sealing of around the edge, anything can fall out or whatever should that bowl slip. With plastic wrap, at least if the bowl tips sideways nothing is going to fall out and get all over. Also with the regular plastic wrap, you can actually place other items on top of it in the fridge if necessary. Plus another factor, the residue from the wax, gets all over your hands and then the container and whatever else it touches so you feel like there is a film you can't get off. I then tried one to cover a plate of food to put in the fridge. There was meatloaf and potatoes on the plate. The wrap would not secure down on the sides of the dish so basically it just lays on the top. Also then I read in other information your NOT supposed to use them on meats, cooked or uncooked because of trying to wash them afterwards and bacteria. MY BAD:( I did wash it off gently in cold water with soap. What I noticed after using a couple just a time or two, if you look at them close, the wax has obviously cracked where you have bent the cloth or from washing, lost was. I washed gently with cold water, soap and a wipe. I can see where maybe this would be good on a sandwich for a lunch box, provided you had the sandwich on the bottom with the flaps on the underside so the sack could hold it together, but it is worth taking the chance that your sandwich could fall apart if moved, due to the wrap not sticking together??? NO> So I would say that these are not for me as there is no "sealing" ability. I now have used a large one to drape over a cake on the counter for keeping air off of. I went back in to read more reviews and if you dig deeper you will see people say the same things about residue on their bowls and trying to get that cleaned off, and not being able to cling to containers to do the proper sealing. I really don't know how long these would last anyway with washing them after uses since I have already seen the wax cracking after only washing twice. Not sure what I am going to do with these but i'll think of something. Would I order them again, NO. The large ones will make ok food coverings for a table, but I am sure only if the temperature is cool, anything warm the wax would melt all over.

Amazing product with nice quality.
I loved loved loved this product! The product is amazing that seals your container completely like air-tight and it is re-usable.The floral print is beautiful and I like the part that it contains no harsh chemicals. The wrap is tiny bit waxy but negligible.I am going to buy more so I can share it with my friends.-----------I ordered another one for a gift to my friend. She really loved it! It is such an amazing product!

Nice for what they are
I think these are exactly as described, pretty, functional, very nicely packaged. Would make a good gift for someone who it excited about this kind of product. But I have to say, These aren’t as useful as I hoped. No fault of the quality of this particular product, these wraps are very nice. But from all I read about beeswax wraps, I had thought these would be easier and more versatile to use for wrapping left overs or as bowl or lid covers in the fridge and they just don’t adhere as well as I hoped.

Better than using plastic.
Better than using plastic or plates to cover the food. It’s doesn’t last very long though, no more than 3 months or so.

pretty, but non-functional
These are really really pretty, but the cloth is not coated with enough wax to mold securely around the container. Even after you warm them with your hands, once they get into the refrigerator, they come undone. Etee are better.

doesn't cling to anything
very pretty pattern. it feels sticky to the touch which i think is normal for the product (have never used beeswax food wrap before). but i tested it on like 5 different things (casserole dish, ceramic ceral bowl, plastic bown) and it didn't cling to anything. i tried crimping it tightly around the edges and it just peeled back up.

Great replacement for plastic wrap
Two things: I personally like them for my home, and our grandson has a disability and he cannot open plastic containers with lids. He can open the bees wax so he brings food to school in these.
