The Good: real fast shipping, very good packaging. Easy set up although the manual is incomplete and sometimes confusing. Using the touch screen most of the functions are self explanatory. Good, large display, easy to read. I think they should include wind speed display. 3-channel option offers good coverage (only one remote unit is included).The Bad: accuracy. After set up I waited 36 hours and I concluded that the values are somehow suspicious. I asked someone with pro temp/humidity equipment to compare. This one is at least 5% off on the temperature scale and close to 10% off on the humidity one. I don't think it's acceptable especially because it's inconsistent. Also, the so called forecast screen is bogus. Another important problem is what's actually included in the manual (and it is not disclosed in the pre-purchase description) and I quote: "The distance of main unit and transmitter should be at least 5-6.5 feet away from any interfering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets. The main unit EOX-9906 cannot stand close to metal window frames. Do not use other electronic products ..... which may cause interference (433 MHz)" Even a headphone could easily confuse this unit.Conclusion: obsolete hardware, sub-standard firmware. Spend a bit more money and get a better product.

We thought about getting a weather station with not only inside/outside temp/humidity, but also wind and rain - but not only were the more complete stations much more expensive but they also added complexity and more things to break and need batteries. This one keeps it simple, seems to be accurate, easy to read, handy light with tap on top for dark conditions...and the cost was very low. The installation was simple, the outdoor monitor unit sits about 30th from the indoor monitor, and so far there hasn't been a hitch. Be sure to mount the outside unit where it won't get sunlight to heat it up...Duh.

So i posted some pictures after i unboxed it and it was in Celsius. Easy to switch to Faranheit by holding down the light button on top for 10 seconds. Great viewing angle from top and side. Not great if you are directly at eye level. The manual states this. They designed the LCD to be crystal clear when looking down on it (probably 20 degrees or more). So I wouldn't mount the base on the wall at eye level. Other than that it looks very clear. After letting it sit for an hour inside the house the inside temp was only 0.5 degrees different than my thermostat. Since the thermostat was on the wall there was no way for me to put it close to the wall. I think that's pretty accurate for being in a different room. The outside temperature was also accurate to my phone weather applet for my town. I had the sensor about 10 ft away on my patio under the covered section. As the instructions say, don't leave the sensor in the sun, rain or lying down. It needs to stand up and get airflow behind it. Otherwise you will get the surface temperature of the sun and that will be wildly different than the air temp. Pretty basic light-weight weather station. It's battery operated which is nice because you can put it anywhere! I posted pics with the backlight activated and without. You cannot keep the backlight on permanently (I don't think) because it would drain the batteries too much. Nice office gift or used in remote locations (tent, shed, barn, etc.).

Limited range for the sensor. Touch screen translates to Min/Max and a setting option only. Ninety percent of the screen is not touch at all. Was hoping to plug it in so that the backlight would stay on for convenience, but there's no option for that and no one to keep the light on even if you hotwired the battery compartment terminals to external power.We have weather stations all over our house. This is the cheapest and most limited and the hardest to read, but it is also the cheapest so it work for us in a location we won't use it much.

I received this product in good condition. All battery terminals are intact, fairly easy to set up. The one negative thing SO FAR is for readability, it seems that it needs to be placed at a certain angle to see the screen clearly. It is bright and clear, the back light is good, but it needs to be placed carefully so you can see the screen from where you want to. Overall I'm happy with it.

Unlike a previous brand that I had before and had to throw away when its remote sensor eventually stopped working completely, this unit keeps in reliable communication with its remote sensor. The temperature readings seem to be accurate too unlike the previous one I had. The only downside is that it's a little hard to read from far away because of the low readout contrast. But overall, I'm happy with its value.

Setup was slightly awkward. instruction text is a little funky, like older Japanese manuals. Would have preferred clock setting to be automatic, like my last unit, but this'll work. All readouts are pretty accurate, except for the general forecast.Working with limited info, this is to be expected occasionally.

The outdoor sensor only occasionally indicates the temperature outside and the hygrometer has always indicated 95% humidity whenever it has actually indicated any humidity information at all. No outdoor info 70% of the time. Cheap, but not worth the money. Not bad if you want random inaccurate weather data.
