This is a great jacket. Its light weight, water proof, available in many different colors, warm, and wind proof. The reason I didn't give 5 star is because it ran way to small! I was very disappointed because its a great jacket. I would definitely recommend buying it, but maybe in a size larger than usual.

I got this jacket a couple of weeks ago and have used it half a dozen times already. It does keep you warm as though as long as you are not in a weather under 50°. It's a light jacket but I have worn it at least twice when it's raining and the water does get through it. The fabric actually starts getting darker uncertain spots where the water comes through. Eventually you start getting cold and the Jacket gets a bit heavier. So...nice but NOT waterproof. Keep in mind it has a downfill so there is that ...scent.

I'm 4'11" and 108 lbs, and got a small. It fits perfect, with enough room to wear a base layer and a fleece underneath.This jacket is perfect for 3-season hiking/adventuring when you aren't sure if mornings or nights might dip down into uncomfortable temps, around 35-55F. That's why it's a *packable* jacket. If it's colder than freezing outside, a person should be wearing a full-fledged winter jacket.I went on a hike with temps in the low 40s, and it was perfect. I will say that it's definitely not waterproof by any stretch of the imagination, so you should carry rain gear if necessary.My only complaint is that it has a weird smell.

I love this jacket! First I bought a small which is the size I normally wear in jackets, but it fit very snuggly. I wouldn't have been able to wear layers under it or have full range of motion in my arms. I returned the small and ordered a large. A medium would have fit best and looked cuter, but I wanted it loose so that I could wear a sweater under it. The jacket packs very well and doesn't take up much space. The bag that comes with the jacket works very well. The jacket is VERY warm and comfortable. My husband and I went on a hiking trip in Iceland and I actually got a little sweaty while he got cold in his jacket... I'm always the cold one of the two of us.The only drawback is that the cord used to tighten the hood broke on my second or third day wearing the jacket. I may have been too rough with it or the high winds might have been too much for it. Either way, I love the jacket and will try to fix the hood.

It’s a nice jacket but the black color is a little shiny which I don’t prefer. I do like the fit and removable hood so I’ll keep it. I’m 5’4 and 115lbs and I ordered medium size since I like a little layering room.
