I bought this for my fiancé as a Xmas gift. He loves it! He loves playing horseshoes.

We used the horseshoes in a sand pit with no wood or other obstacles. One shoe hit a rock after a wild bounce off the lawn and it broke into two pieces. Just be careful where you throw them. Otherwise they worked well. I will order a different brand for my next set.

Very sturdy but much too heavy for younger kids or weakling parents. It will likely last generations though. Store in a safe place, preferably not at the bottom of the stairs where it can stalk your toes at night as you fumble around in the dark. You are warned.
