This is the first Moka coffee I've bought
I can tell you this: I had been making moka coffee using espresso fine coffee. I didn't know what moka grind coffee was. So I tried this. My gah! It is 1000 times tastier. Still strong, still full. still concentrated but it is so smooth. No longer bitter. Maybe I'll try other moka brands, but I can say that the difference between using the right ground coffee is the key to making tasty coffee in your moka pot. If you've been using espresso grinds, stop. Give this stuff a try.

The coffee is not bad, but its a bit overpriced; and it is not exactly a "moka/mocha"
This "Mondo Moka Ground Coffee, Medium Roast" is not bad; the coffee is ok, the grounding in ok. I tried both drip and pour over on it, they tasted fine, it is better than your run of the mill coffee. It is not strong, and it is not too complex; it is ok, it is drinkable, somewhat single dimension tho. I wouldn't call it a "mocha" (moka) per se, unless that is not the intention; to me, it is just "coffee", not much of any "chocolate" to it.For what you get, I do think that it is a bit overpriced at $9 for 7oz, making it over $20/lb. I would expect something a bit more crafty and extraordinary if I am paying $20+ for a lb of coffee. At that price range, there are a lot more choices out there.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

The original expiration date blacked out, covered a sticker
There is some strangeness with the expiration date on the package. The original expiration date is blacked-out with a pen and covered by the stick-on label, which shows the 02/07/2022 date. Some reviewers mentioned that they got packages with the expiration date in a few months, which makes me wonder if that is the date that the sticker has covered up. I purchased this package in March 2021.This coffee is medium roast tending towards dark roast. I detected no chocolate, vanilla, or nutty notes. It comes in a relatively small bag of 7 oz. I use the pour-over method of coffee making, and you can see in the photos that the coffee is dark and rich. I do not like dark roast, and this coffee is about as dark as I can still enjoy.Ali Julia reviewReview of Mondo Moka Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, 100% Arabica Blend

It is just ok, not the most robust.
We gave this coffee a couple of tries using different methods. We used a drip coffee maker, boiled water over the grounds, and a boiled percolator method. This coffee is mild, and not as robust as we expected it to be. There is a slightly nutty smell, but it doesn't transfer into flavor. Didn't experience any chocolate/mocha flavor notes either. Wanted to like this more than we did. This is a smooth coffee, and mild. Great for those with a desire for the milder blends.

fine grind, mild flavor, maybe not optimally fresh
This Mondo coffee is very finely pre-ground and works best in a Moka pot or regular drip coffeemaker. The aroma is nice and it's made from 100% arabica beans, but the flavor is mild and not that complex. There is a clearly marked manufacture date and best by date. While it was not expired, I was disappointed the manufacture date was a while ago. The bag is not resealable. There's also no info on the roasting, sourcing, harvest altitude, etc. of the beans, and I prefer when companies are transparent with all the supply chain information that affects flavor.
