The delivery time was outstanding; I received the gate in less then 24 hours. I am extremely pleased with the gate as well. It’s a beautifully constructed gate.

I finally can open the upstairs windows again without worrying that our little climber will be in danger. This is solidly built, comes with great instructions, and is a pleasant look in the window.

I installed two of these horizontally in a sliding window (two units cover the entire opening as per manufacturer's requirements for horizontal installation). My daughter's house has windows only 6" off the floor in the second floor bedroom. Although the window is not usually open, with 4 small children, these were needed to prevent any of them from falling into the window and breaking through it. The units are relatively sturdy, but not sure if they would hold if a full-grown adult fell into it. It does take two hands to release the bars for egress access and is unlikely a child could do it. They are a little pricey for the weight of the material but I would buy these again,

Excellent product. Really solved our problem of two-year old twin boys and a double hung window in their bedroom. Be aware that the kids will climb up on it (like a ladder. So get rid of any dangling window blind cords!

If you attempt to mount in between the sides of the window jamb, there is a BIG problem. The direct line to those predrilled screwholes is blocked by the fixed reinforcing loops. You cannot get a cordless drill or a manual screwdriver in a position to get a straight shot at these screws. Just shortening those loops would eliminate the problem. I am a carpenter with 35 years experience. If I find it difficult, the average homeowner would certainly have problems

This product is a good product overall! We installed them today but installed them vertically so our 1.5 year old couldn't climb it like a ladder. I was very worried about transition our toddler to her big girl bed since she will be able to roam the room as she likes and we have floor level windows that are 2 stories up. This gives me much more peace of mind. Prior to purchasing I was very worried about if there were ever a fire but there are 4 safety button features that are very easy to use in the case of a fire! Only giving 4 stars because the bars are a lot more flimsy than I would have thought for the price. Photos attached!

7歳と1歳の子どもがいます。寝室が２階で、ベッドが窓際にあるため、上の子がつかまり立ちを始めた頃から、ベッドのフレームを分解して納戸に片付けて、すのことマットレスだけで寝ていました。しかし、上の子も大きくなり、自分専用の床から110㎝ほどの高さがあるロフトベッドを欲しいと言い出しました。シングルベッド3台をつなげて4人で寝ていましたが、力が強くなった息子の足に蹴られて睡眠を妨害されるのも辛くなってきたため、ロフトベッドを購入し、ベッド4台を並べることにしました。しかし、どのように配置しても窓にかかってしまい、窓を開けている時に落ちないか心配で、ロフトベッドを購入できずにいました。また、シングルベッドのフレームも納戸のスペース占領していて邪魔だったので元通りにしたかったのですが、下の子も歩き始めて窓から乗り出すと危険だったので、窓に落下防止の柵をしたいと思っていました。学校の窓にあるような2本の手すりや窓の外に付ける落下防止柵も考えましたが、それではロフトベッドからの転落は防げません。だからと言って、窓全体に何本もつけると火事などで脱出したくても出られなくなります。サッシに取り付ける侵入防止の柵も考えましたが、強度はありませんし、窓全体につけることになるため脱出できなくなります。長い間いろいろな商品を検討しましたが、緊急時には柵を外せるようになっていることと、落下防止用で強度があることから、こちらの商品に決めました。我が家では、引き違い窓の片側を窓を固定する器具を使って固定しておき、開く方の窓側にこちらの商品を取り付けました。アメリカの商品のため、インチで表示されてので、商品の製造元のホームページも参照しながら、ネットで換算してサイズを確認しました。できれば、日本で販売する商品については、センチに換算した表記もしておいていただければ迷わずに注文できると思います。シングルベッドとロフトベッドの両方の高さからの転落防止効果、強度、緊急時に取り外しが可能、コストという全てのニーズに対応している商品が他にはなかったので、大変満足です。取り付けは女性一人でも30分程でできました。ただ、電動ドライバーがないと固くて大変です。
