Great find on hard to fine item
I have a 1948 Lionel PA coal burning steam locomotive set. I have the original track and with these new pins it is working great. Will not hesitate to do business with this supplier again. Received product within 3 days of purchase.

Replacing missing pins.
It is nice that these are available to replace the ones missing from the vintage track that I have purchased at swap meets. They seem a bit pricy, but not terrible. I was a little thrown off by the notice that there was only one package remaining, spurring me to purchase it, and then they become available again right after. That doesn't have anything to do with the product, but rather the experience. I am just now working on creating the layout, so I haven't put these into action yet. I will need some more of them when I get the layout going. I will probably come back here to find them.

Slightly wider pins
My train set was built in 1972 so my tracks are fairly old. The pins is slightly wider then rusty one being replaced thus took a little effort to fit in track. I happy my train is running after many years in storage and I believe pins help in getting it running again.

These Pins Do Not Fit Very Old Tracks
Beware that these do not fit very old Lionel O-guage tracks. I bought these for tracks made in the 1950's. The diameter of the old track pins is 6/64" (3/32") as determined with a precise digital caliper. These pins have a 7/64" diameter. I could pound them in (as apparently some others have done), but then when connect two tracks (more pounding in) you'll never get the tracks apart. So, there is nothing wrong with these pins other than they do not fit all O-guage Lionel tracks. However, to be constructive here, get either copper or aluminum 3/32" rods right here on Amazon (just do a search). I did, both work fine.
