Less gagging
So much easier for me to use than a normal neti pot. I have an extremely sensitive gag reflex. While I did still gag a bit while using this, it was nowhere near as bad as with the neti pot. However, I feel like this takes a couple full rinses per nostril because it just shoots up there and out a bit faster than the pot. So the neti pot seems to loosen the really thick stuff better because it sits in the nasal cavity longer. And I always warm my distilled water in the microwave for a few seconds (until I can put my finger in it and not feel any temperature difference) before use so that it isn't a huge shock to my body like room temp water. This also helps with the gagging and loosening of the gloop. So there are trade-offs; but for me it's better not to gag (and possibly bring up my last meal) than to use less water/saline.

ease of use
it definitely helps clear out nasal passages and stop post nasal drip , which stops my coughing). I bought a more expensive electric pulsating machine for deeper penetration. The machine does a slightly better job of reaching deeper into my nasal cavaties, but I still use Neil Med with bottle. It works fine and is a lot easier. So, for ease of use compared to my electric, defintely a lot better. Sometimes I just need a much longer and deeper sinus rinse so I use my electric. But this is good product.

Very pleased with product.
Using a sinus rinse to help manage my chronic allergies was recommended to me by my ear, nose, and throat specialist years ago. I suffer mostly from sinus and chest congestion which results in frequent headaches.Using the sinus rinse hasnโt cured anything by no means but I definitely find it to be helpful.I was also told by my EN&T specialist that I really didnโt need to buy all those premade packets for the rinse if I didnโt want to- I could do it myself just by adding 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking soda to lukewarm water in the sinus rinse bottle. Iโve done that ever since and itโs worked great. Especially for colds. I prefer this smaller size rinse bottle as opposed to trying the teapot one just because to me this one is simple and compact and Iโm already happy with it.Hope this helps!

๐ชGreat nasal irrigator
๐ช I highly HIGHLY recommend this over a neti pot for nasal irrigation! This type of irrigator enables you to stand straight like normal, just bend down over a sink but you KEEP YOUR HEAD STRAIGHT!Neti Pots are DANGEROUS because they force you to tilt your head to one side or the other, you don't want to do that when flushing your nose, this type of nasal irrigator is what you want to use to cleanse your nose.

Wonderful product
The only thing that had ever helped my crazy allergies and sinuses. Wonderful job delivering saline water to literally wash away the yuck! The sensation takes a little getting used to, but now it's second nature. Just be sure to lean far over your sink and allow all the water to exit. I recommend bending over in a forward fold then stand upright to ensure you got all the water out.

Functions as it should since it is an over the counter product.
This product is ok for now. I have sinusitis and will use until I get my appointment with an onocologist.

Effective and Convenient
I bought it to replace one I had used in the past. Iโve tried the Neti Pot but this is so much better and easier to use. It has been a great help in coping with seasonal allergies and sinus congestion. Ordering online and having it delivered to my home is so convenient. I had searched retail stores but they all had the starter kit and I only needed a new bottle. I will likely be a repeat customer.

Works fine, but scammy
I have bought a bunch of different nose rinsers to evaluate on my toddler. This product works fine but is marketed as if it is some sort of scam. I have bought a simple plastic squeeze bottle and it appears to irrigate just fine, but I have reservations with the manufacturer's communication regarding this very expensive plastic bottle. Most importantly, warnings printed on the bottle and on the literature that the bottle must be replaced every three months - but this limitation is not visible on the exterior of the package or in the product description. Considering it is possible to clean - and the replacement warning is missing for the more expensive electric products, I find this to be a bad sign.Next, the product comes with extremely complicated instructions, including RED BOLD TEXT, ALL CAPS TEXT and numerous identical warnings and warnings to heed warnings. They even went to the expensive trouble to print a 3 color warning (about not using your own salt) on the inside of the cardboard! Supported by a similarly sized "warning to read the warning" on the outside. The 30 page booklet includes full color advertisements for no less than twelve NeilMed product lines. The Sinus Rinse, although it only holds 240ml is described as "LARGE VOLUME" even though my simple and small netti pot and the Squip Nasakleen Squeezie both hold 250ml.The summary of all the product warnings are: - Clean the product appropriately and avoid cross contamination - Throw it away and buy a new one after three months - Do not attempt to mix your own saline - Do not overheat the water
