Q: is this product applicable for auto seat use in winter weather, low temperature conditions?

My wife uses it all the time in all weather conditions, but we live in Pt Townsend WA...You can look up typical weather condition history on the net.

I'm not sure I understand your question because this is a SEAT cushion and was not made to be positioned against the BACK. If you're asking if, by using it, it can add support to the back, I would say that it depends on the chair on which it's used. If the chair is completely broken down, a cushion isn't going to help except to provide comfort. I love this cushion so much so that I have bought 3 of them. It adds comfort to my office chair & my lounge chair and I take it with me to my grandson's soccer games & I'm forced to sit on bleachers.
