I Sound Like a Radio DJ in My Tiny Office!
I’ve always wanted to sound like I host a top morning show, but my recording space is basically a closet with a desk or cubicle with sound masking. Enter the PodMic USB—my new best friend in tiny office acoustics! This thing is so easy to set up, I felt like a pro broadcaster in about five minutes.XLR? USB? Sure, Why Not? I love that I can switch between my fancy audio interface when that is needed in more formal settings and a direct USB connection faster than I can pretend I’m talking to 10,000 fans when doing this sudden virtual web meetings. The internal DSP, plus the legendary APHEX Aural Exciter and Big Bottom? I’m not sure how they do it, but let’s just say my voice went from “bored cubicle dweller” to “smooth operator on the airwaves.” Right out of the box, might I add.The headphone port is perfect for hearing my voice in real-time—no more awkward echo when I’m trying to record that perfect intro. The dedicated volume control is a cherry on top!I tend to be…let’s just say energetic (bored) with my desk taps and hand gestures. The PodMic’s internal shock mount keeps my spirited performance from turning into an earthquake drill for those I'm on a call with.Overall, if you want top-notch RODE quality without needing a stadium-sized studio and budget, grab the PodMic USB. I have had other PodMics (XLR) and these live up to that same standard and quality. I feel like a legit voice actor every time I hit record.

Sturdy, and reliable, pair this with a Coda stealth.
I own several microphones, my collection includes an AT-2020, A Rode procaster, A CAD-e100s, and the rode pod mic. The pod mic has super high build quality, and it's lighter than most microphones in it's class. It is dynamic so I recommend pairing it with a Coda stealth. This mic has withstood years of heavy use without faltering, it's my daily driver. The procaster is too heavy for most mic arms, and my CAD E-100 S/ AT-2020 are only for voice work in a sound controlled environment.

top-notch microphone for anyone serious about podcasting or streaming
The Rode PodMic is a top-notch microphone for anyone serious about podcasting or streaming. The sound quality is incredible, offering clear, rich, and professional-grade audio. The cardioid pattern is perfect for isolating your voice, and the build quality is solid and durable. It’s also very easy to set up and use with minimal technical know-how. If you’re looking for an affordable yet high-quality microphone for broadcasting, this is an excellent choice!i wish it had background noice cancellation tho. but overall a great product. im using it for my podcast "the Succesfull Muslimah" check it out if thats something you think youll be intrested in !

Didn’t expect to like it more than my Yeti X, but here we are.
I grabbed this after my Yeti X’s USB port gave out... was a little unsure at first cuz of the price, but wanted to try something different. Honestly... I like it way more than my Yeti X. The sound is just cleaner and it doesn’t pick up nearly as much background noise, which is a huge win.Only gripe? The gain control. On the Yeti X, you’ve got that super convenient front knob... here, it’s all software-based and the software isn’t great. Not a dealbreaker, just kinda annoying. That said, the mic itself? 10/10. If you don’t mind messing with software, this is a solid upgrade.

Amazing sound quality, wish it had a mute button
This is a very good microphone. It’s easy to use in either USB-C or XLR setups. I do wish it had a hardware mute button, but aside from that, The microphone is excellent, and every way.

Nearly perfect, while slightly overpriced and a little fussy using the headphone port.
Price is a bit high, and the headphone port can be a bit finicky as far as gain levels go since the dial on the back doesn't have start and end stops. The software or onboard processor can decide to make it a different gain level than you set it to (exacerbated by Windows' poor management of what apps can control mic levels). Once you get it all dialed in, it works without surprises or issues, but I wish I could disable monitoring through the headphones and switch to hearing the mix from my computer only. The mic looks and feels nice and premium, if a little prone to handling noises due to good but not great isolation. I love that the onboard processing means that it doesn't need to be connected to the same computer or software to sound consistent. This mic can be tuned using the desktop RØDE Central app to sound excellent for most voices. Every aspect of the PodMic is quite simple to use with the exception of that gain dial on the back and trying to balance both direct monitoring and mix levels, those take some fussing. Overall great product, I just wish it were about $180 instead of $200 for this quality and feature set.

Great microphone
Bought two of these for my podcast studio and they sound fantastic. For the price I’m not sure you’re gonna find a better microphone and they look pretty darn cool also.

Quality mic
I compared several mics and found this one the most versatile. It was easy to use the app to set the mic eq when using the usb functionality. You do have to be carful not to hit the mute button on top of the mic. It has only happened one time in the past few months so I personally wouldn’t let that stop me from purchasing. The mic comes with everything you need to get started at a great price. I would highly recommend this if you want quality sound at a good price.
