Genuine 46505SA5000 Clutch Pedal Stop Pad

Took a while for the mechanic to install behind the clutch in an acura rsx but it's working great.

The clutch pedal stop pad snaps right in so no need to remove the actual clutch pedal. Solid product. No problems with the transaction. Bought for a 1991 Honda Civic EF hatch base model.

One night (thankfully otherwise I wouldn't have seen it) my brake light stayed on after I got out of the car. Research and some diagnostics pointed me to this plastic spacer piece that holds the brake pedal off the brake light switch. These things apparently become brittle because mine (what was left of it) crumbled in my fingers as I tried to remove it. I inserted this new one and the problem is fixed! You don't even need a single tool (screwdriver, pliers, socket, etc.) to do this5 stars except for "value for money." This part is half the price at the dealer but they were out of stock and I didn't want to wait. I don't mind paying extra but not double!

Wow!!! It came wrapped in cellophane! And that was in a plain tan wrapper/ envelope so that prying eyes could not see the pureness of the nylon or similar plastic mysterious material that it was made of. The last one lasted nineteen years and I expect with improving technology that this one will go the distance easily and even more! It fit perfectly!! It is installed in its proper place which means that it will never see daylight again! What a pity! Beautiful simplicity! I think I will go out and buy another old Honda hoping that it has one that failed too! Then I can do this all over again! Hope that this has been helpful for you. Just as decried. Only thing is it didn’t come in a Honda package like the picture shows. But it dose fit and work like it should.

Fit perfect on the clutch pedal in a 2000 Honda Civic. The old one lasted 18 years! Once it broke into pieces, car wouldnt start since the clutch sensor button woildnt be pushed in without the nylon pad. Kinda hard to get to but once your down there, smaller hands will have an easier time pushing into the hole. Car starts again like it did 18 years ago!

You do not get what is pictured which I believed was a genuine Honda OEM. You get a ziplock baggie with a sticker with the part #. Hope it lasts like the OEM did. Time will tell.

Matches the OEM part exactly on my Acura RSX Type S. It's a fairly small and simple part, so why does it cost $5.00? It's just a tiny piece of plastic.
