A kitchen funnel kept getting knocked off a nail over the sink. A hook fixed that.The underside of a shelf was the best place to hang a ladle. A hook worked.A plastic tablespoon hangs on a hook in a bathroom shelf, handy to measure borax or washing soda.A folded utility knife now hangs from a hook beside a doorway where I usually open packages. Unlike a nail, it won't hurt anyone or tear clothes if someday it gets bumped.To reduce desk clutter, I moved four items to hooks. The most important is a headlamp, which hangs beside a doorway. In the event of a nighttime power failure, I'll know just where to find it.A telephone headset and chain necklace hang above my cordless phone. If I want to talk hands-free, I can clip the phone to the necklace and plug in the headset.There was a tangle of 7 computer-related cords on the floor behind my desk. Now they run through hooks on the back of the desk.I can check the balance of a mower blade if i mark the center and suspend it from a nail, with cords holding the ends and a plumb line between. The picture shows how a hook is better than a nail because the curve keeps the plumb line right between the suspension cords.I have three outdoor extension cords on reels. It takes two minutes to fetch a cord indoors, bring it out, and unreel it, and another two minutes to put it away. That could mean four minutes of handling a cord to make a four-second saw cut.These hooks are just right to hold the ends of a 25-foot cord along a beam in the carport, three steps from the outlet. Between the ends, the cord rests on screws at 5-foot intervals. It takes me half a minute to fetch the cord and plug it in and another half minute to put it away. Each time I need electricity near the back door, this saves three minutes.From the pack of 18 hooks, I have 3 left. I expect to buy more.

Ordered these cup hooks for a project that I was doing. There was a little concern when ordering as there was not really any dimensions listed for the hook outside the overall 1-1/4" dimension. Without being able to physically see the part before ordering and without dimensions that better described the actual size, you just have to hope and pray it works. Considering the cost of the parts it is a very low risk. I have attached a few images showing the hooks against a scale so that you can see the actual size of the hook as well as the throat opening which is a critical dimension for certain projects. Overall product appears to be a quality part, finish is a nice oil rubbed bronze that appears be durable.Edited after 1+ year of use:These were installed in March of 2021 for use on an outdoor pergola to secure a tie-back for outdoor curtains. Installation was simple both using a pre drilled pilot hole or without having a pilot hole. Surface finish after a year in baking summer sun and freezing winter has not changed and still looks like they did the first day they were installed.

Fits great would buy again if needed.

The media could not be loaded.  These are solid mug-holder hooks or key hooks, as they have a big enough hook to actually hang larger objects. As I mention in my video, it's no small point that these have a stop at the top of the threads: this keeps each hook sticking out of whatever you screw it into at the same level and height. This little touch makes for meticulous rows of hooks if you go that way.These are ideal for simple key hooks near the door. I've also used them for hanging tools, kitchen items, and various brooms and mops in my back pantry area. With 18 in a pack, this is also a nice deal. The rubbed bronze look draws less attention to itself than bright silver and/or gold, in my opinion -- which I like.These are solid hooks that are easy to install and hard to bend.A NOTE ON INSTALLATIONIf you can't pre-drill the holes and are installing on wood, especially hard woods like oak or maple, just tap in a small nail -- then pull it out. The hole left by the nail will provide a perfect "pre-drilled" hole for this screw-in hook to follow..................This product was NOT given to me as part of any promotion. Perfect for coffee mugs!

These are great because the bronze patina allows them to work indoors and out, for both decorative and utilitarian purposes. I've got these working as curtain tie hooks, dog leash holder, power drill hook, and plant basket hanger. They are admittedly not heavy dury hooks and the plant basket may be pushing its limits a bit, but that basket has been up there for almost a year and hasn't budged. I've used them in dry wall with anchors (and without, depend on purpose) and they do the job time and again. I'm hooked

Good hooks that are easily installed, sturdy, covered, not visually overwhelming.

Perfect! I will be ordering more! Exactly what I wanted and they work perfectly for what I needed. Used them to hang a few strands of lights from my basement ceiling, drilled some quick pilot holes and easily twisted the hooks securely into place no problem. Fast delivery and decent price.

I like these hooks so far they are holding my large heavy mugs , I like the size and I found them easy to install if you use a smaller screw first to make a hole.

I bought these hooks to hold a tarpaulin up at the side of my house. They are metal so should withstand being outside, and they went in easily after I had drilled a pilot hole for them. They are also a bronze colour and look very nice.

Exactly as advertised. Used them for a key rack and had to snap some extra threads off the back since I put it through a thinner piece of wood and they are still holding up well!

I usdd these to hang some macrame, they're really pretty, the colour is kind of a purple burgundy and very nicely metallic.
