Nice
Everything works perfect. Super lightweight stand and easy to carry.

Better than my Lone Wolf and Summit Viper
This is much lighter than my lone wolf flip top and much more comfortable. I was use to my lone wolf sit and climb so everything was the same on this stand when putting it on the tree but will need to be practiced. I don’t like having a bar in front like the summit viper bc it gets in the way at times especially if you’re bow hunting. The XOP XL is 21lbs and the smaller climbing stand is 18lbs which I’d rather have the extra room. I’ve hunted 2 miles with a 32lbs stand so this was a really nice change!I normally stand the entire time I hunt, even all day sits because of two ruptured discs. I was completely fine sitting in this stand for all day hunts. The XOP climber has the same design as lone wolf except they made some improvements to the stand so it can fit bigger trees that taper off. This stand is easy to pack down just like lone wolfs but this might be a tad easier. The rubber straps keep you quiet and grip much better than the round cables on other stands like summit. These rubber straps have cable on the inside as well but also has teeth to grip the tree better. You don’t have to worry about metal on metal noise that will scare every deer around off.If you’re looking for a great climber that’s quiet, fast, and comfortable then I’d pick the XOP over my lone wolf and summit stands. The only improvements I’ve made was replacing the buckle cinch straps with metal cinch straps. I haven’t used my lone wolf sit/climb or summit viper or python since. Good luck!

Probably for a smaller guy than I
The strap is all wrong. It gets caught on everything. It seems to bend toward the tree, also I am 6'3" and my feet hang off the bottom of it in sitting position.

Lightweight and compact.
This stand is very lightweight and compact. I would buy this stand again but if I could change a couple of things it would be the latching system for the belts that go around the tree and a different material for the seat. The material is loud when it contacts the tree while going up or down.

Biggest waste of money.
This thing is such a piece of crap. Super unstable while climbing or even sitting. The seat is terrible. The straps hate going up and down the tree. I went out and bought a summit which was comparable in price and a pound heavier. I’ll never look back. What a waste of money.

Amazing stand!!!!
I received the stand very fast. The stand came complete and was extremely easy and fast to set up. The fit and finish of the stand was immaculate. This was my first climbing stand and found it easy to learn how to use. It is lightweight yet sturdy. It is also very stable once in the tree. The bungee strap used to transport the stand holds very tight and has minimal if any noise at all while walking around. I am throughly impressed by this stand.

Noisy seat/pivoting sit bar = BAD!
The sit bar is the worst part of this stand. WHY does it need to pivot up and down??? Once you have reached your hunting height, it is useless, if not dangerous. I just don’t understand why it is not a rigid bar like my other stands. I will not make the mistake of buying one like this again. The seat itself is great. Noisy, but comfortable. I’ll be selling this one for sure. Not worth my money or time.

XOP climbing stand
I had high hopes for this stand,I bought the wide version for more room, that’s a joke, supposed to be like lone wolf blah blah , light weight yes it is,. To adjust you have to fight the bars that slide up down and is a pain in the ass. Once you loosen it up it is a little better and I mean using it. The bottom platform is awesome, quite etc. the top sit and climb sucks period. Unless you like having your knees in the tree or around it this thing sucks. I’m 6’1 and I do not under any circumstances recommend this stand to a tall individual, you will absolutely hate this this thing as I do, I wasted 300+$ on this stand and regret ever buying it. Not to mention the feeling of being unsafe when you are 20ft in the air, yes I use climbing harness to and thank God I had it on when I used it because I dam near fell , I have used alot of climbing stands in my 20+yrs of hunting and this stand Is by far the most unsafe stand I’ve ever had, do yourself a favor and possibly a life saving one, do not buy it and if you do you dam well better make sure you have a safer climbing harness on because you’re need it. This this is so unsafe it should not be allowed to be sold.
