Fisher-Price Imaginext Dino Fortress

If you have a child that loves dinosaurs, you cannot go wrong with this toy. My grandson, who is just barely 3 years old, could not stop playing with his Dino Fortress, in fact, his father had to take it away from his in order for him to go to sleep. The mostly five star rating on this toy is fitting because Fisher Price put a lot of thought into this fortress. It comes fully assembled, it's sturdy, it makes sounds, it lights up and it has many moving parts. Also, it's expandable, not the fortress itself, but you can buy additional warriors and dinosaurs and warriors that ride dinosaurs that launch lava balls or missiles, too cool. All-in-all, I am very pleased with this toy, so much so, that I bought a second fortress to give as a gift to my nephew.

Makes for a great gift! The fact that it came completely assembled was a definite bonus! No trying to build it while an impatient, excited toddler is jumping around you!Moving head, lights, sounds, a shooting canon and lava balls too... it doesn't get any better for the dinosaur enthusiast! Purchased with a few of the individual Imaginext dinosaur characters. The combination has resulted in many, many hours of play time already.The solid structure should last a good amount of time. Will definitely look into purchasing other similar items in the future.

This is a great toy. Lots of fun little discoveries to be made. I usually don't like toys that make noise, but the jungle beats are pretty cool sounding when the dino head is lifted and the firey lights come on. One of the better imaginext products I have ever purchased.

My 3 (almost 4) year old gave it maybe 5 minutes of his time. He's more interested in the big batcave and megazord you see in all the stores that we also purchased for him at the same time. After watching the video for this toy today he went over to it again, excited that he had THAT TOY we just watched, but again gave it maybe 5 minutes and he was over it. He's just not into this and the lion's den one. However, that doesn't detract from the toy's quality and durability, so I'm only knocking off a single star. It's a well built toy and I'm sure plenty of other 3 year olds love it.

This is a good quality toy. It is well built. It does several different things from lighting up to launching balls. It comes with tribal figures also. My little one enjoys playing with it. Everything is easy for a 4 year old to do by there self. Provides lots of imaginative play and goes with the other imaginext dinosaurs.

My son loves this dino fortress! It is all he wanted for his birthday and has spent hours playing with it. There is lots of action when the red buttons are pushed or turned. The balls can be shot from the cannon or knocked with a little swinging hammer. They roll through little channels as well. There are lights and sound and lots of little nooks and crannies so hiding the little man figures. It comes with a man, mask and spear. A green dinosaur, three balls and winding snake that twists down a pole are also included.

A fun interactive toy! My 4 year old went crazy over this and the Imaginext Ultra Trex. It has caves and passages and shoots boulders. Comes with men to defend the fortress. My son plays with this all day. He enjoys battling against the TRex which is also an amazing toy. Great for imaginative play.

This was bought as a gift for my 3 year old nephew. It was a hit among his brothers and cousins ranging from ages 18 months to 5 years old. A couple of notes is that there are some small pieces (i.e. the snake and head piece of the guy) that need to be watched out for when there are small children around. There are just the right amount of buttons to push that cause some excitement. The shooting of the lava ball from the dinosaur's mouth was a little hard for the 3 year old to do but that didn't stop his enjoyment. One thing to note is that I could not locate a button to turn off the noises/lights and even 15 minutes after stopped being touched it would still "roar" once or twice however after that it would stop entirely. Very pleased with the reception of this toy and the price was reasonable for all the interaction.

What a cute toy. Great price and keeps my grandson entertained. So well made and loads of fun.
