Dash Cam WiFi

If you want a sense of security while driving, this dash cam does the job well. The video quality is great during day time and decent at night. Sound quality is clear and crisp. The suction mount sticks to the windshield very well and it even comes with a unique magnetic buckle where you can easily take down the dash cam without removing the suction mount. The car charger also comes with an extra usb port so you can also charge another device. It also comes with a 32GB SD card which is very convenient so you don't need to go buy another memory card. The dash cam itself also has WiFi capability so you can view the recordings right away without needing to take out the memory card (you do need to download the "Camaster" app to view the camera).On top of that, the customer service experience is wonderful. I worked with a service rep named Ivan and he was awesome. He responded to all my questions very quickly and provided excellent support to all my needs.

I've had this dash cam for about two years. It's a nice little camera. It's held up to regular usage in hot and cold temperatures and has even maintained its suction on the windshield. The fish-eye lens ensures a wide field of vision.It takes a micro SD card for internal storage. To get the footage off, simply connect it to your computer as a "Mass storage device" using a micro-USB cable. A neat feature of this camera is the collision detection. If it gets bumped during operation, it moves that video to a folder on the SD card called "LOCK" so it doesn't get overwritten by mistake.The reason this gets 4 stars out of 5 is the video quality. While the resolution is nominally 1080p, the quality is too poor to take advantage of that. Generally speaking, you can't make out license plate numbers at a normal driving distance.Overall, you get what you pay for. If you need crystal-clear footage of your drive, this isn't the camera for you. But I am happy with what I got for the price.

When I opened the box and found the magnetic buckle was broken I started to consider returning the item. I reached out to customer support for another buckle. They immediately responded and sent another buckle. The buckle allows easy camera removal which was a feature I wanted and was a reason for the purchase. It did take me some time to learn how to use the buttons on the camera but I finally got it set up the way I wanted it to operate. Another problem I had was getting the app to allow me to access the camera’s files from my phone through the camera’s WiFi. I asked customer support but they had no real solution. I deleted the app and went to the App Store to download it again. The App Store only shows 2 stars for the app so I wasn’t confident that the download would work. I read a couple comments on the app and found one user stated he put his phone in Airplane mode and then he was able to access the camera. I did that and it worked. I passed my solution to customer support so they can recommend using that if other customers have app problems accessing the camera. I haven’t looked at nighttime files but the daylight files look good.I am most impressed by customer support and without their excellent support I would have returned the camera.

Bought this specifically because it can detach really easily. Well it wasn’t easy, and when I detached it, the magnets come out with the camera. So now it can’t even be mounted back on. Lasted 12 hours max before something broke off. The camera works fine, it’s the other parts that need a big improvement

Really like this camera. The size, cord length and picture quality are great. But on the second day the magnets came out of the inner holding piece. I tried to take them off of the magnet camera piece and they both flew into the ground and I couldn’t find them to try and reattach with glue. Now I’m forced to “McGyver” it back into place with tape, since I don’t have two of the magnets. This shouldn’t happen so easily. I wish the manufacture would send me extra magnetic pieces.

I have been searching for a dash cam for my car with rising crime rate in my neighborhood and I found this one. I put it to work and have been testing for a couple days, it works well, the recorded video is clear, and the price is worth it. Its quite small so it doesn’t block me view when I am driving.And it is very easy to install and set up, it come with an extra charger USB so I still can charge my phone. I can review the video on my phone, it’s pretty easy to use. I love this dash cam! It seems super legit!

Was sceptical on how a $40 dash cam was going to be, so far I have mounted it and it tucks up mostly behind my rear view mirror so it is out of the way. the power cable is usefully long, and i managed to hide it all the way to the 12v socket on the dash. Not sure how well it picks up detail like the license plates, had a couple of issues with reading them. Will play with the settings a little more. overall very satisfied with the price and the product. One camera came with the magnetic buckle but was missing out of the other. In conversation with Wimius at the moment about getting a replacement, the magnetic bit fits between the mount and camera with the same fittings so you do not have to have it so the camera is still mounted, just can quick connect.

I like that the suction holds up very,very good! The day time video is great and clear. Night time is not too good,but with sufficient lighting it is clear. The oncoming lights and the roadside lights(ex,McDonalds,Auto Zone )are blurry until you are right up on the sign. You can see the license plate numbers if you are right behind the car. Overall a good dash cam,easy to use,great day time video,and great suction on the windshield. Just at night it is lacking a little bit.

What a great little camera! Being so cheap I wasn’t really expecting top of the line video, but was I surprised! I’ve just finished watching video from the last few days on my computer for the first time and I’m really impressed! The video quality was excellent and number plates of vehicles in front of me were very clear! Extremely happy with my purchase!
