Great for flashlights
I've always loved Tenergy rechargeable batteries. I have maglights all over the house because we get lots of power outages, these seem to hold a charge at rest for a long time. I will say that if they're in use for quite a long time, they definitely don't have the life of a duracell or energizer, but their life at rest is better than most rechargeables.

The only Terengy set I've bought that have not had DOA's in the pack.
I've bought the (white label) 4pc D-cell High Capacity 10000mAh NiMH. 2 of 4 died within 2 months. (white label) 8pc D-cell Tenergy Centura Lite 3000mAh NiMH all of which died within 6 months. (blue label-this set) 4pc Tenergy 10000mAh NiMH D 4 of 4 still alive 2 years later. (black label) 8pc AAA Tenergy Premium PRO 1100mAh NiMH which under-perform against standard eneloop AAA. And now the (blue label) 12pc Tenergy AA 2500mAh NiMH of which after the first charge 2 of 12 have not lasted 1 day before completely discharging and now won't take a charge. My Takeaway:The batteries that aren't dead after 1st use seem to last for at least a few years. However the 30% DOA rate I've experienced have made the cost per unit (total cost/actually usable batteries) just as high as better battery brands that last for 10 years. At this point the D-cells are the only size I have to turn to Tenergy for but all other sizes I will not buy again.

Quality batteries, capacity as advertised
I use Tenergy for all my C and D-size batteries and am happy with them. I feel C and D sized batteries should be used by more manufacturers. I have no issues with these batteries, but wish there were more charger options for larger batteries. I have measured all my batteries and they meet or exceed the published capacity values. My only gripe is a general one; I think NiMH batteries should be cheaper at this point. That is the only reason this is not a 5 star review. I will be buying more but wanted to spread the cost of the batteries out.

Just Saved Hundreds of D-Cells from the Landfill
These perform at least as well as disposable batteries, recharge over and over, cost less in the long run, and avoid the waste. Don't understand why anybody would buy a disposable battery any more!

Do not hold a charge - Drain Quickly
We have 3 Ring lights in our back yard that all take (4) D batteries. We have been replacing the batteries about once a month. Going through 12 D batteries each month was getting expensive so I thought it made sense to invest in rechargeable batteries. It wasn't easy to bite the bullet on a $78 (16) pack of batteries but I figured they would pay themselves off over the long run.Unfortunately, they only last for 3-4 days. On day 1 the lights are very bright. Day 2 noticeably less bright. Day 3 very dim. Day 4 dead batteries. Same light settings as when we were using throw away batteries.I also bought the Energy T9688 charger which comes with 8 additional D batteries. I've charged them all twice and used many combinations of the batteries but always the same result. So now I have a charger and 24 rechargeable D batteries that cost me $151.43 and don't hold a charge. I wouldn't recommend these.

Good value
My kids received a hot wheels track for Christmas that requires 4 D size batteries. I already had a compatible NiMH charger, so these were a no-brainer to avoid having to spend a fortune on disposable batteries. I haven't had them long enough yet to know how long lasting they are, but, hoping for a good experience. Will go back to update the review if they don't perform according to expectations.

Save so much money
Every toy my kids get need batteries and the hot wheels track needed Ds. I pictured spending tons of money over the years on batteries trying to keep their favorite toy running. They charged surprisingly fast, although they weren't charged on arrival. A week post-Christmas and I haven't had to charge them yet even after hours of play. So far, so good!
