Perfect for my 2010 Mini Cooper S
Okay, so I wanted to wait a while to review this to see if this y cable held up. I have had many that die in 3 months or the aux stops working or the charger stops working. I hate buying the cables with the preamp box that the aux pops out of, or the ones with the curly stretchy cord, or cables that are too short. But this one was the perfect length and no preamp needed. EVERYTHING STILL WORKS GREAT and it’s been many months. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S, and the audio is crystal clear and the charger still charges and my phone does not say “Accessory not supported.” On that note, the only time I have had that message pop up is when my phone was at 100% and the car was not moving. I liked this so much I bought 2 more just in case I could never buy any again from these guys!

Would not recommend, became faulty right outside return window
Pros: no muffling or static. Great sound, when it works.Cons: I’m a few days outside my return window and it’s beginning to stop playing music like there’s a faulty connection; sound is controlled by both my iphone and my vehicle, so I have to make sure my phone’s volume is all the way up to get the best sound; no car display - can’t skip songs from vehicle dash or see what song is playing unless you use your phone, which can defeat the purpose of phone-less driving for the easily distracted; music continues to play from my phone when I turn off my vehicle, but silently - I have to pause it from my phone unless I unplug it completely... which I don’t like to do all the time; 2-3 second charging delay once plugged in; charges very slowly; must turn phone on silent when connected or music will fade with incoming texts/calls; if you listen to music and use navigation from your phone, you must go into your navigation app and manually adjust the audible sound, otherwise, every turn-by-turn will be shockingly loud.

Best aux cord I've ever owned!
I'm constantly going through aux cables for my iPhone in my car. So far this one has lasted longer than all of the others (going on three months so far and still going strong!). I never get the 'this accessory is not compatible...' message and it's great being able to listen to music and charge at the same time. The cable feels like a really nice quality cable and the sound is great. I don't know if it's because it's made to be used in the car, but this cable is sturdy and great. I highly recommend it if you're like me and totally frustrated by junk aux cables.

Say bye tons of wires and adapters.
Say bye tons of wires and adapters. Good wire length, all connectors are made well, flexible wire. Tested on iPhone 8, XR, iOS 12 and iOS13 - everything works fine. Full-featured cable at the price of an adapter from Apple.

Works Great and just what I needed.
I have an older car that I'd installed an adaptor to plug my older iPhone into the car's sound system from it's headphone jack. But I just upgraded to an iPhone 12 which doesn't have a headphone jack. Fine, I thought, I'll just get a lightning to headphone jack adaptor. But then I realized I wouldn't be able to listen to music from my phone and still charge the phone - which is something I need to do on long car rides. This cable was a perfect solution and the price was very reasonable. It works perfectly and it's actually rather nice to only need one cable to plug my phone into both audio and power.

Unable to Charge & Listen at the Same Time!!!
I had really high hopes for this cable, and if it was only a charger or only an audio cable, I’d give it 5 stars, (because technically it will charge my phone and it does allow me to listen to music.) However, I can’t give it more than 3 stars because I am unable to use both of these features together, (which is why I bought the cord.)For some odd reason, when I plug in the charger while also listening to music through this cord the radio makes an awful sound. I’ve adjusted the cord and used it with many different charging blocks (that go into the cig lighter) in my car. However the same thing always happens; The sound is great until I plug in the charger block, then a horrible sound comes through the speakers that no one would want to hear! The only reason I kept the cord is because it sometimes works when used with my sons phone, (he uses an iPhone 11 Max Pro and I use an iPhone SX Max,) and as I said before, I can technically charge and listen to music with it, just not at the same time.I’d also like to note that this is the first and only audio cord that I’ve ever had this happen with. All other audio cords have always worked just fine.I had really hoped that this cord would work, especially for what I paid for it. So I was really let down when I realized I wouldn’t be able to use it the way it was designed to be used... If I could do it over again I would definitely ask for a replacement or refund.

Perfect for Kia Forte
I purchased a used 2015 Kia Forte5 (hatchback). Great car so far and has this UVO entertainment thing. Anyway, it has a USB and aux input so I figured I'd just plug in my Iphone7 into the USB like I do with any other car. It worked but the connection was unreliable and would disconnect/reconnect sporadically. After some research, I realize the car was built for ipods and at some point the car came with its own cable. I obviously didnt get it with the car so this product on Amazon worked like a charm. No disconnects and allows me to play Pandora (yes Im old), Amazon Music or any other app on my phone.I could have done just bluetooth with the UVO system but I found that it wasn't nearly as loud as wired connection.Good Luck!

Works on USB/din radios
Okay, so I bought this adaptor for a crappy speaker (has a USB Jack to charge a phone, but won’t play out of it, and requires a din to play its AUX source) at my job.Audio clarity is decent for the speaker it’s attached to (true audiophile might have complaints, but it sounds good to me).Durability: not sure yet. I’ll update when it fails, but construction is decent. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all and phone charged and the music played!l with no issues.Value: if it keeps doing what’s it’s doing, I’ll call it a solid value.

Quality made solution to using my iPhone in car
I really like this as it allows me to keep my iPhone charged while listening to music and navigating with audible directions from my iPhone while driving. There was an audible buzzing and whining from alternator feedback when the car was running but this was easily resolved with a Cable Matters Ground Loop Isolator 3.5mm Noise Isolator Hum Eliminator for Car Audio.I really like that I don't need any additional cables, it has discreet black braided cables and is quality made.

Works great, excellent price and fast shipping
Works exactly as expected, let’s me connect and power my iPhone in an older car without USB inputs.
