HIGHWAY PATROL has a fine reputation and is fondly remembered with good reason. Here we have all thirty-nine, 25-26 minute episodes from season 3 with good B/W picture & sound quality. Rugged lead actor Broderick Crawford had a hard-drinking reputation, but his performance here as tough but amiable Chief-of-Police Dan Mathews is very good, as are the performances of the guest stars which include familiar character actor William Boyett in his reoccurring role as Sgt Ken Williams. Then there's the varied cases the top man behind the wheel is called upon to investigate, the snappy dialogue, and not a single wasted scene anywhere. So if like me you enjoy the likes of Jack Webb's "Dragnet" then I'm pretty confident you won't regret ordering this.39 episodes for (currently) under a tenner - well worth parting with your pennies I reckon. 10-4!!!

A total blast from the past. Good short stories and plots. No bad language. Just a great series of cops v criminals.

50s America great

brought back old memories

It was wonderful to be able to obtain all episodes of a show I watched when I was a kid, and still find that -- despite Crawford's machine-gun delievery -- a generally good series with only a few poor stories (about 39 episodes per year!!) and some rather pedestrian acting from time-to-time. Overall, it is very good, and great to see California back in the '50s as this show was shot on location.Highly recommended. And what a steal, considering what I paid for Season 1.

リージョンフリーでした。２５分のドラマだから、テンポが速く、贅肉が無いから、古さを感じさせない。英語が半分しか判らなくても、ストーリーが単純だから、充分楽しめる。このお値段なら、一回こっきりしか見なくても、もったいなくは無い。暇つぶしに最適。

I have not played the DVD yet but as in the past there should be no problems. Always a joy to order TV series from the past and very good prices
