If you like the style just buy them ...period! Read the reviews, especially the negative ones and bought them anyway.These are really beautiful, solid barstools. We bought 3 then ordered 1 more. Really easy to put together. I don't know why anyone couldn't assemble them in a few minutes.They have large comfortable seats so the legs don't get in the way. Like any wood product put together with bolts or screws I would wait a few weeks to install the plugs so you can tighten the bolts as the joints seat in place.Really finished off our kitchen redo.

They give my kitchen a French Country feel without being too cutesey. All my guests love them. They are super comfortable and sturdy. They have a great antique white color. The packaging was great but one of them arrived cracked. Amazon was great sending a replacement in time for Christmas. Thank you Amazon!

I have never written a negative review... until now. We purchased these 29" barstools in February 2015, and since then my husband has done everything he could do to keep them from falling apart. Their long slender legs look very pretty, but when anyone larger than a child sits upon them, any movement twists at every joint. You, too, will find yourself attempting to keep them glued together. The footrest rails are too delicate as well, and threaten to crack and break if you use them to climb up on the stool. They are probably the worst purchase I've ever made from Amazon. Oh, yes, they're cute 'n all, but take my advice: if you want a barstool that people can actually sit upon, don't buy these.

I love the look of these. They are not a bright white but more of an antique white which is what I was looking for. I bought 2 that came at different times. The first one had one hole that was not deep enough for the screw to fit in. I called the company directly (VERY NICE AND HELPFUL) for a replacement piece in hopes that just the one I got was defective. The replacement came fairly fast and it was the same color but the part of the piece that actually fit into the other pieces (like a puzzle) was an entireley different size (much larger) so I couldn't use it. I love the chair so much that I used wood glue to mend the original piece to the chair. So far so good but not many people sit on it during this pandemic so the sturdiness is still TBD.The 2nd chair came in today and the SAME PROBLEM! Still only 1 defective hole. Some measurment must be wrong on the machine or something and it needs to be fixed. I was not expecting the exaxt same problem on the 2nd chair or I would have returned the 1st.But they look nice!Update: Be aware that these chairs become extremely wobbly after a while of use. You will have to tighten each screw every once in a while when this happens :-(

After reading the reviews I went ahead ordered the stools with the understanding that they would be difficult to assemble but I would be happy with the results. Well, we must have gotten lucky because we assembled 4 stools in less in about 1.15 hours (and we are not handy people.) The stools are very solid and nice to look at. They will be a nice addition to our beach house.
