Does not lock the battery in the slot.
This is meant to be wall mounted with the handle side up or the battery will slide out of it's slot.

Handyman daily user
I work as a handyman and use the charger daily. I have had my charger for 6 months now and it works awesome. I am always careful placing and removing the batteries and have had zero issues. It may not be as fast as the dewalt charger but I always keep it full of batteries so that’s never been a problem. I would definitely buy it again.

Dead after a year
I've been using this for a year or so and now its dead won't charge any battery I know its been a year that I've had it but I still have battery chargers from 15 years ago that still charge dewalt batteries
