How can you not like this time piece ,this one is just stunning,what an amazing shade of red ,looks superb against the white numerals.I just love Skagen watches ,real quality ,beautifully made,and comes packaged in a real sturdy box which is well made too ,all in all its a first class product ,like all Skagen time pieces,get one and see how perfect it is ,you won't be dissapointed! Just bought the blue version to add to my collection,and it's every bit as stunning as the red one ,the white numerals really stand out against the royal blue, just love it.never had a problem with Skagen watches,they are just magnificent, go on treat yourself,good price too ,and very quick delivery too approx 2 days( without prime)I Iv'e got several Skagen watches dating back to 8\ 10 years with the same battery too,

I now own 3 of these watches, very comfortable to wear and they add a pop of colour to any outfit.Be careful changing the battery as its quite easy to damage the internal mechanism

Watch looks great but it simply doesn't work. There is no option on the site to get a replacement, so it looks like I have to get a refund; unlikely that I'll rebuy it as it's now at a higher price than I paid.

Love the look and colour of this watch. The face is very large, and although the markings on it are quite discreet it is easy enough to read in daylight/artificial light. The grey blue colour works well with most colours, just like denim blue does. I have a very narrow wrist and was worried that the strap might not fit, but actually I use the second hole, so no problem. I have no idea if it’s waterproof, but I didn’t buy it to wear underwater, so again no problem.

I have always liked the simple styling of Skagen watches but I thought I would like to go for something a little bolder. It is certainly that. The watch looks really large on my narrow wrist (perhaps a bit larger than anticipated) but it does look stunning. I didn't realise there were actually two sizes but I'm quite happy with the larger size. I thought the weight might make the watch slide round my wrist but there are plenty of holes for even the narrowest of wrists, so it stays put. The back does say that it is waterproof, or should I say water resistant, up to 3ATM. I did accidentally leave it on in the shower and the watch was just fine but, other than that, I haven't put it to the test so can't really comment.However, there are a few niggly little things - not serious enough for me to reject the watch but somewhat unexpected and worth a mention. (1) The strap is sometimes surprisingly difficult to fasten and takes several attempts to get the hook in the holes, it just seems to slide past them for some reason. (2) I chose the light blue colour as being the most versatile. The band and case are nice tones of blue but they could match up a little better for a mono toned watch. It's still quite versatile as colours go though. (3) Despite the large size, the numbers on the dial face can be a little difficult to read in low light. They could do with being a bit denser or brighter as in low light the numbers can become a little indistinct and at certain angles they actually disappear. (4) Is it me, or is the case quite chunky for a Skagen watch. Perhaps it's the price one pays for having a really large watch and a separate second hand movement.I've only had the watch for a couple of weeks and functioning as a watch it has been fine, however, the little things mentioned above make me feel perhaps this watch is not quite the standard or quality I would expect of a Skagen watch of this price range. As I said, despite the little issues I have decided not to return the watch. I just hope that it lives up to the Skagen reputation. Time will tell.

The back of the watch case screws in and is impossible for the user to unscrew to replace the battery, even if you have a suitable tool. UPDATE I bought another gadget and got the back off so still saved money.

I love these Skagen watches. Comfortable, look really cool, the colours are fab and great value for money. I have 3 now!! The orange, green and now this luscious red. I can’t comment on the water resistance I’m afraid as have not put that to the test on any of my watches. Delivery was super quick too. Needless to say I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Battery does not last and when replacing the battery the minute and second hand fell out of place. This is designed to fail as you can only open the back of the watch, you have to pull some plastic out the way to access the battery. When this plastic is moved the watch hands are disturbed which results with the hands falling out of place. There is no access to face to fix the hands. So replacing the battery results in breaking the watch.
