100 Pack - Retractable ID Name Badge Holder Reels with Swivel Alligator Clip (Translucent Clear)

The package arrived in the mail. I opened it and tested the product. It broke on the first gentle pull. The second one works but has very light, cheap, construction. This is not a product I would trust to perform well or last.

These didn't last. I used them to hold my ID for work. My ID badge has a chip, and is needed to swipe for entry into the building, the elevator, and the office. In less than a month, the whatever-you-call-it that allowed for the release and contraction of the string broke. The string/line, whatever, would no longer retract. They were both dead in less than a month. Not worth the money.

I have purchased over 1200 badge reels from this company in the last 3 months. I stared getting customer complaints in the last few weeks. The snaps are falling apart and a few had the clip break off. I have contacted the company several times and only have been contacted back once. I was told there is no replacement products available but they could give me a credit. And never heard back from them nor was any credit given.

This was exactly what I needed for my work since I have to slide my ID card to open doors. Makes it more convenient than taking my card out of my pocket every time. I just put it on my shirt or pants pocket. It has a good length that extending it from my pants is not a problem. The swivel on the clip makes it versatile to clip more comfortably. The holder also has a swivel that sometimes makes the holder turn around, so your cards can get flipped and will be facing your body instead of be visible to other people. This is sometimes inconvenient as I have to turn it around but it is not a problem for me, but it might be for other people, so I included this in the review. I cannot speak on durability as I had not use it for more than a week. It seems sturdy, but we will see. For the price I am not gonna complain and if one breaks I have the other one.

I could not imagine how difficult this item is to find. I should have tried Amazon first, they have everything. I needed replacements for a company-issued device. This item much more durable than the 6 items I went through. I am hopeful these will last. The only down side was the bulk cost. I spent more for 6 than I would have spent for 20. It is obvious the seller has this geared for companies. I am still pleased with the durability of the item. I highly recommend them. They work very well.

These are exactly what I was looking for! Though they are plain which is what I was looking for anyway they hold up nicely so far I’m still on the first one, haven’t needed to use the other one yet but it’s nice there is two so when u do need the other one u can already have it on hand! It’s a no brainer honestly! Going for these would be good if ur looking for long lasting durability.

In my craft business I make decorative badge reels. Not only are these great to work with, but the price is good too. It was also handy that came came in a box. It makes it easy to keep them stored when not being used.

Bought this to replace another that finally failed on me. Works as intended and haven't had any issues so far.

I purchased these as working on a behavioural unit we needed the Alligator clips for our IDs so if it’s pulled it will come off. These were advertised as alligator clips but when received they came with the hook.
