Excel 2003 For Dummies

This is the second book for "dummies" I have purchased. As with the first, it is arranged in a way that makes it easy for a novice to easily find answers to particular difficulties they may be having in understanding a how to input different functions. This has helped me tremendously in being able to utilize the program more to its potential.A very good purchase and at an exceptionally reasonable price.

What can I say except this is a super reference for everything Excel does. Very pleased.

I have practically no excel experience. Maybe a little here and there making simple spreadsheets. I looked through this book and knew how to do basically everything it taught. If you ANY knowledge of Microsoft office this book is not for you.It is good for people who have basically no computer experience and have NEVER in their lives used excel. If you have any experience I would stay away as this book will not expand your knowledge very much.

To technical for me to understand. I acquired a used laptop, and have never used Excel before. Was not sure which Excel was installed, therefore taking a chance I bought the 2003 edition. I am still trying to figure things out right now. The book was a used book, and in excellent condition, so the purchase was great, just to much for my old mine to absorbe.

Didn't get much use out of this.

As with virtually all of the "Blah Blah for Dummies" books, this one is simple, has fun illustrations, and is a bargain for the information it provides. Learn just one thing from it and it more than pays for itself - really.

On the whole the book is a good means of learning the basics of Excel 2003. I have been using this programme for some years but only recently started to integrate it into the idea of setting up a means for keeping the accounts in a small business. So far so good however it may turn out to be a slow process, when compared to a dedicated programme, but much less expensive. I would reserve my judgement for a time in order to prove how use can maintain its convenience. Amazon's service is good and has stood me in good stead for several years. I would not hesitate to go to them to find solutions, and to use their services

I really need something much more advanced. This is for novices. For me it was a waste of money but it’s ok for new learners.

Excellent service. New item, sent quickly. Although Exel 2003 has been discontinued and is no longer supported this item is still usefull for later versions.

This is a gem of a book for picking up new ways of using excel. Most of us are self taught but this book allows you to go beyond those self taught bondaries

The book is well laid out and I could easily find the information I needed. Provided a good refresher course. Recommended

An excellent introduction. Just the basics are covered, but that is what was needed. Excell has good "Help" notes for anything more advanced.

Good book for the one they are not use to work with Excel software.
