Goes through batteries very quickly, takes 3 AA. Unit only on for 2 to 3 hours in the evening, small LED lights. Estimate to changing batteries is weekly. Not too happy about this. Even with no lights its pretty to look at.

I love the colorful lights and the Holly at the base sets this tree apart from all the others I looked at. I bought it for a relative who has a cat and couldn’t keep a regular tree upright. It is so beautiful I am going to buy one for myself.

I love that we can move the tree anywhere. Thought I wanted a tree that plugged in but glad now I didn't get that type. Glows with color. The only thing I wish is if the star at the top would glow brighter.

This is a very pretty table-top tree. It's not as bright as I thought it would be, so I will probably try to change the size of the light bulb inside.

… the star on top DOES NOT FIT!! I read the previous reviews and I had to wrap tape around the base of the star so it would stay in place. This tree is otherwise stunning :)I have also noticed that the batteries do not seem strong enough to keep it well lit…… I used new batteries and had to change them only a few days later…. They do not seem to keep this tree lit well enough (?)

Do not buy this little tree. It drains the batteries. You get MAYBE about10 minutes of bright pretty lights, after that? It just looks like a dull looking cheap painted “ceramic” tree. That you might’ve found at the dollar store. They sent it quickly, but without the STAR that belongs on top. They were willing to let me return it, but I just don’t have time to do that, being the busy caregiver a two high needs individuals during a pandemic, so I asked them to send me the missing star. Which never happened... (it looks pretty unremarkable without the star and the lights) It is just not worth it. It’s depressing. Not Christmasy!! I ended up throwing it away..Maybe I got that “one” defective tree. Maybe I didn’t. But is it worth taking that chance? There are plenty of others to choose fromTotal waste of money

There is some confusion about the tree’s timer because the switch just has two settings — off and on. However, ON is a timed setting with this product. Let’s say you switch it on at 5pm. It will automatically turn itself off six hours later, at 11pm. If you leave the switch alone, the tree will come back on again the next day at 5pm. It’s been doing this for three days now at my house. But if you switch to “off,” then you’ve messed up the timer system.Other brands have a 3-way switch with settings for Off, On, and Timer. This is not that kind of switch. But the tree DEFINITELY has a timer.The biggest disappointment is that the star on top of the tree is not lit. It reflects the interior light to a small extent, but it does not have a dedicated light of its own. This is a major flaw to me, because the star disappears in a dark room. I will stick with the Mr Christmas brand of trees for this reason. That brand has a light inside the stars at the top of the trees.The lights on the tree are very bright and colorful, and battery life is pretty good on the timer system.

Good value and beautiful tree. Even thou it is nice that it takes batteries, so you can put it where you would like. It is also abled to be used by plugging it into the wall. BUT there is no cord to do so.

I just got my little tree today. I love it! It’s colourful and the perfect size to fit on my desk. I just wish it had a plug in rather than batteries because I know I’ll be replacing batteries from having it so much! 😄

Overall the tree is not bad. A little disappointed in the quality. The hole in the top is way too big for the star so it doesn't sit straight. The lights appear to be glued in which is ok, but kind of pointless to provide extra ones. The light is not bright enough to light up the top "bulbs" or the star and turns off after some time.

I received my tree today and turned it on and notice maybe 5 or 6 hours or so later on it went off, is that normal?Other than that, one light fell off but I glued it back on. Found the star on the side of the packaging and I put it on without any problems.it's a lovely little tree I just wish that it came in a bigger size and that color I don't like silver so I'm not going to order that one. I think it's pretty good for the price most of those trees are fairly expensive at $40 or so it's pretty good. And because it is battery operated you can place it anywhere you don't have to contend with a wire that has to stay plugged into the wall.
