All the knives are really high quality and to buy them individually at the same standard would cost a fortune. As well as the knives you get a sharpener and a pair of scissors. All the parts fit neatly and securely into the block and it stores them safely. The knives are easy to clean and have a good feel to them both in terms of shape and weight. They are really sharp and cut through items with ease. You get every shape of knife you could possibly need and they all do the job fantastically. Really pleased with this set and they look great in my kitchen, also having them in the block has freed up some much needed draw space.

One of the reasons I bought the product was that I thought from the description that is was German. It is not, it is Chinese. Manufactured in China, imported through Spain, sold to me in U.K. The description on Amazon and on the box is ‘German Steel’. Who knows if it is German steel, I have my doubts. One other thing for buyers to consider is the angle of the block. Because it is steep and if you intend to put under a high level cupboard you may find, as I have, that you cannot pull the knives from the block.

I bought this knife set for my new house and I am thoroughly impressed. The grip is very firm, knives are not too heavy, and the blades are sharp and crisp cutting. The knife set comes with a stand which is very handy for storage. The set has 7 pieces, including a pair of kitchen scissors which are essential to anyone that cooks on a daily basis! The colour of the handles also match stylishly with the stand. What a delightful set - I would definitely recommend to my friends.

The product arrived in good package, each item was individually wrapped and with a plastic point guard for knives. The wooden block is very sturdy and hold the knives, scissor nicely and safely. Knives with reasonable weight and are very sharp. Using them to slice meat, vegetable without any difficulty. Over I am very pleased with this knife block in terms of price and quality.

Excellent knife set. I want to say that a good knife will save time,save effort,save money and no worry-fast knife will not waste ingredients, cutting food is fast and comfortable.I used the main chief one to cut meat / vegetables.It let me more enjoying with cooking,before chopping meat let me headache,because it took me long time to chop.now this problem solved.The block will help me easy to organize these knives,I am so happy to have them.

Knife set has a great build quality with metal running end to end with good quality wood handles and also solid wood block holder. It is also not very heavy, so quite easy to use as well. Good quality, all metal shears should last a while if properly maintained.Knife set does not seem to be dishwasher safe, so cleaning could be a bit tricky to some.

It’s a great knife set that looks and feels good and very well made, the blades are very sharp and does help making the chopping process very easy. Was able to cut through a very ripe tomato without any mess. The sharpening tool addition in the set is a great addition. So, all in all great addition to our kitchen counter top.

I previously bought a single chef’s knife from Homgeek (weird name but quality knife).So when my knife block needed replacing I went for this...and it didn’t disappoint: great weight and balance on the large knives. They look and feel like quality items and I love the fact there’s a sharpener in there too.
