ORORO Men’s Heated Fleece Jacket with Battery, Fleece Heating Jacket Warming Jacket (Charger Not Included)

The fleece is very nice and of heavy weight with a nice lining to help stay warm and on a chilly day makes a great layer to have between the outer and inner layers but, that's where it ends for me.The fit is good and the jacket materials seem good too.Unless you wear something over this, the heat (on high) can be barely felt in mild temps. Secondly, with the location of the heating elements it does very little to heat your core - in fact, I got the chills using this because there is not enough coverage from the heating elements. Both the back and front heating elements need to be larger and run down the length of the jacket. I found the heat to make my core temp lower and give me no comfort in being warm. It wasn't until I put a jacket over-top did I start to feel some heat.Lastly, the unit keeps switching me from high down to low like 10 - 20 minutes unless I make an effort to cycle through the heat settings.Honestly, I'd really love to return this because it is either A) Defective or B) Doesn't work well for me or meet my expectations. When you take it out of the package, there are tags that state removing them disqualifies them from being returned.

I wanted something to wear under my North Face jacket to keep warm during the cold mornings I have to take my dog out. I usually would put on some wool sweatshirts and such under a jacket. But, that is more work, and, a just woken cold body doesn't make warmth the best. I decided to try this as an option.First, I ordered a medium and it fits perfect. Slightly snug, but, not tight. Just how I wanted it. I am 5"11" and about 155lbs.I have worn it many times now and wow, it works great. Having a jacket over it really holds in the heat! I only need blue or white mode right now (only early November). I can see using the standard preheat then medium mode after 5 minutes once it gets colder. This also comes in handy when getting into a cold vehicle in the mornings. I'm sure I'll find more uses. For now it serves my needs perfectly and battery life isn't an issue since I don't use it for hours at a time.It heats up fast! I can feel it almost instantly. Of course, it takes a few minutes for the outer jacket to contain and spread the heat. I can turn it on, and get my dog, and by the time I'm outside it is working well.Hopefully it lasts for years and years.

This is my 4th Ororo Jacket. Bought the hooded one and the battery would not charge. Returned and the new one stopped heating after the first wash/dry following instructions. This jacket (the fleece) same thing. Washed once following instructions and it stopped heating. The thing also randomly switches between. high/medium/low modes on its own. Spend a bit more money and go with Milwaukee.

Seems ok although it is not clear why you buy this versus a warm coat for the same money or less and not have to hassle with the battery. Also, it automatically turns heat down ( to save battery time? ) when you put it on so you have to remember, when you are getting cold, to turn the heat back up rather than curse the jacket for not warming you. Also, it is very hard to see the heat indicator because it is high on your chest where you cant easily see it. Also, you have to take the battery out to charge it. It would be far better to charge it while it is in the jacket, but then the jacket is always out taking up space and looking messy. Also, for some reason the sleeves are way too tight around the wrists. You have to force it over your hands to get it on, but then, oddly, there is no such concern around the waist where the opening is 10 times bigger and there is no elastic or draw string. Go figure.

I bought this for walking my dog on cold New England days. I thought this would be more like a fleece and could be worn throughout the day. While it is comfortable I do find it very heavy and while great while out on extremely cold days it is not for wearing around your home. I wore this one day to work and not even turning on the heating elements I was extremely warm. The material is very thick and does as promised keeps you nice and warm.I am a female but got the men's cut because I assume my husband and I could share. Well we both fit it it is definitely more made for his body than my own.I enjoy it and I'm glad I purchased it it is just not for every day where if you just work in a cool office.

Bought one -- tried it. Works! went outside wearing a long sleeved t shirt, medium thickness for a t shirt, Pressed the button as instructed, it power up red, and I felt the heat. Real heat, it felt good. It gets better. At the point where you're thinking it may be getting to hot--- it adjusts itself for you, my light changed color and the heat adjusted. My phone says: weather wise the 'feels like' is temp 30f.... and I'm comfortable. It's warm on its own, and, when the sun goes down and the temp lowers quickly-- it'll save you.

This fleece jacket is one of the best of the best. The warmth of this jacket is so good that the warmer is almost not needed. Temperatures have been getting in the low teens and haven't felt the cold not even one bit. Once the snow and colder weather kicks ill be ready for it and with the new and improved battery device simple usb-c charging is the way to go. Its got a bit of weight to it as well but dose not hinder movement. battery is in a good spot so its not poking or stabbing your body as well.- very comfortable soft flexible- extremely warm- fashionable as well

The one reviewer is correct that this will cycle you automatically out of the high setting every ten minutes. That said, I'm still extremely glad I bought this thing. Medium heat over a t-shirt is just enough to keep you cozy. Without question I'm going to save on heating bills. Also, I had an issue with my first battery making a bunch of noise when charging and they replaced it without any fuss.Anyway don't expect this to feel like a full-blown heating pad -- but also don't discount how much a nice little bit of radiant heating on your chest and back will feel throughout the day.I just ordered the socks.
