Peace of mind, irrespective of puncture size.
Should you suffer a puncture which is too large for sludge or similar infills. This temporary spare will get you to a garage or indeed home, irrespective of puncture size. So well worth the money. On the Jeep Renegade, you will have to remove the standard polystyrene compartment, if you intend placing the spare within the boot, which will also raise the level of the mat, as the spare wheel is deeper than the depth of the formed recess within the boot. I still consider it preferential to carry a spare wheel.
