Popin' Cookin' Nerikyan Land by Kracie Foods

This is a doughy type of candy that you can mold and make things with then eat your creations. It is absolutely edible and fun to do. There are lots of helpful youtube videos available for people to use who do not read Japanese. This one is very easy to figure out though. I do not read Japanese at all and I still had fun using this. It comes with different colored candy packs that are soft and dough like to the touch. You then break off pieces of the candy to mold and create into little shapes (like modeling clay). This is very similar to using clay but it is candy! Do not be confused or put off by it. The two flavors are Soda flavor (blue and white color candy) and Grape (pink, yellow, and black color candy). You get blue, white, pink, and yellow candy, and a smaller amount of black candy, it also comes with a small packet of sprinkles. This is a small package, more than enough for one but if you are purchasing it for kids (who might have trouble sharing) you might want to purchase two so they have enough to play with. I think it tastes great, but I am a fan of Japanese grape and soda flavored candy. I do not like American flavored grape stuff, so it is important to note that the flavor is different than those used in the US.

Well first off I bought this on the 28 of May and it came June 5 about 20-30+ days early which is great. The candy itself is really fruity and nice. The packages surprisingly have a lot in them. It doesn't look like much at first sight but when you actually start making stuff you realize it's a lot lol I made about 25 small things(I'm not counting entire "sculptures" as 1). I actually had to stop halfway through because I was sick of eating so much of it(btw this finds every single cavity). But yeah this is cute and fun however I don't recommend sharing this unless you like eating things felt up by other people lol. These are some of the things I made.

These are amazing! It tastes great, and unlike many other kracie cooking, is doesn't require a microwave and you get to make what you want! Its delicious, fun, and a great way to spend your time when you need sometinto do, and its also a great activity for siblings under 15 to do (older children would not appreciate it as much as younger kids) I recommend this! Not to mention, youy don't need a tutorial and its very essy

This kit is a LOT of fun for anybody, not just children. It comes with five tiny packets of candy paste. Each has the texture of Play-Doh. They taste like a lovely, pleasant mixture of fruit, bubblegum, and lemon. Each packet is about the size of a single square of Bazooka bubblegum. The colors are black, pink, white, blue, and yellow. You can have LOTS of fun using your imagination to shape butterflies, vehicles, people, cartoons, flowers, anything you want. You might even just be tempted to eat the candy paste squares as they are, without even taking the time to mold them into different shapes first (that's what I did the last time I bought this kit!!)

This was a gift for my 11 year old daughter. I was surprised that she knew what it was when she opened it. She was excited because she'd seen Youtube videos posted of these products & wanted to try them out. She had fun with the pack for about an hour and made some cute things. She says it's easy to mold. She liked the flavor. I tried some, it was not bad at all. I give it 4 stars because the expiration date had passed by a couple of months (big sticker on the pack hard to miss), but it still tasted fine. Very cool product that would not be available to try apart from Amazon.

These candies all taste the same. Very artificial flavors. The fun is in the making of the candy. Luckily my kids just taste and throw away. If your kids like the taste, I would probably limit the intake. All instructions are in japanese, but illustrations are good enough to figure out. Took about 1 month for delivery since these come straight from Japan. At the local Japanese store they were about 1/2 the price.

The kit is fun but with flavor it isn't as good as other Popin Cookin sets I have tried. The ramune flavored ones (blue and white) were more bitter than traditional ramune flavor is and the grape (black, pink, and yellow) were more chemical than the black that was showcased in the Sushi House set. The flavors weren't up to Kracie's normal standards in my opinion and the kit suffers from it.The kit does however come with a couple cute molds and suggestions on what to make and is fun to make.

My daughter's review:I bought this for my friend for Christmas.. but I ordered it a little late so it didn't come in until about mid January. But that didn't seem to bother her too much..She was nice enough to share the experience with me and this was so much fun.. we tried making some of the stuff on the box, but eventually found it more fun to make our own stuff.. like hot dogs and Slenderman.. yeah..It tastes really good too! It tastes exactly (and I do mean exactly) like Juicy Fruit gum. So if you've ever had that, then you know what this' ll taste like.But the thing is.. it's not gum.. it's candy.. when we first tried it, we thought it was gum. It feels like gum and taste like gum.. but it's not..It's like.. japanese witchcraft.. XD I'm kidding of course..Anyway, over all, I'd definitely get this again!
