Ideal first machine
If like me your wanting to get into using this type of machine then you wouldn’t be disappointed with this. It’s an ideal starter level machine and easy to set up and use. Takes both types of blades and the foot pedal is a very good nice to have, makes learning the craft easier in my opinion.

blade changing
The machine works great with little vibration, foot switch is very good and saves fiddling, looking for the red off switch, this is my forth machine, and have to say i am delighted with it, i did find that the blade clamp was very fiddly, but got over that problem by converting to Axminster blade clamps, would buy again

Brilliant very good value for money. Biggest advantage is the foot switch allowing me to keep both hands on the work.

A remarkable tool
A present for my daughter and after seeing the results of her first few small learning pieces I cannot wait to be able to borrow it. Substantial build, very fine cutting and the blades are not breaking as often as I had expected. Any down points? Hardly - being used to a sewing machine pedal she expected to vary the speed but quickly adapted to the 'on/off' of the pedal (that allows for two handed close control of the work piece).

Works well but…
Works well but I’d buy better blades, the one came with the saw was thin and bendy. Brought for husband birthday and he’s pleased.
