More than just a gratitude journal - highly recommend
I researched a LOT of gratitude journals before selecting this one. What I like in particular about The Way of the Tortoise Journal:- It includes an introductory section that explains the brain science behind this habit, including an exercise to make a personal commitment and think of preemptive strategies to keep you on track (plan for success!);- It covers multiple disciplines beyond just acknowledging gratitude: also encourages affirmations, daily goal visioning (which rewires the brain to focus on positive things), and random challenges for the sorts of things that seem simple but that we never seem to get around to doing. All bite-sized and very manageable to write every day;- You write both a.m. and p.m. - in the morning, focusing on things that you are grateful for, and in the evening, things that happened on that specific day to celebrate. Makes gratitude more tangible/real. Also the p.m. section has a section for what could have made the day even better, which plants a seed in your mind for the next day or future.- the hardcover is nice and the paper quality also, so it feels luxurious to write. I recommend using a nice pen. :-)- it REALLY does only take 5 minutes, if that!

Make the changes you want in your life with this journal
I have been using these journals for about a year now and totally recommend them. At first, I was skeptical whether keeping this kind of journal would have an impact but now I wouldn't be without them. The journal is full of useful guidance. Layout is clear, with helpful prompts. You can put as much or as little time into it as you want to. I now start my day so much more positively and end it reflectively. I have used them in conjunction with numerous 21 day meditation challenges and these help me focus. The journal is perfect for doing so.Since starting my journals I have become more self aware and learnt techniques for peace and calm. It is my'go to' place when I need to centre myself and find answers to daily stresses and personal growth.They are well made, with quality paper and quotes for each day. I prefer 'The Way Of The Tortoise' journals to any others, especially as I am a member of the Facebook group of the same name. There is so much support, good ideas and prompts.These journals are well worth the money. Give yourself that so-needed quality time each day.

Amazing just not for me
Beautiful very high quality journal. Soft to touch and excellent detail. I normally have the 6 minute journal but thought I would try this one. Unfortunately I couldn't get on with it as it required too much information and I prefer a quick morning routine. If you have time in the morning and evening this is definately a journal for you but if your like me and time is limited I would stick to the 6 minute journal.

This Journal is “THE” Journal to purchase!
The Way Of The Tortoise Journal is a beautifully presented book with a lovely embossed cover that makes the Journal feel special.But more importantly it is full of very helpful, insightful information that is easy to read and understand. The preceding pages before you start you journalling gives you the information to aid you in completing the daily sections.This Journal is helping steer me back onto the path of feeling happy, contented and at peace. I am very grateful I came across this The Way of the Tortoise Journal and I am sure you will be too.I have purchased 4!

Keeps me positive and remembering I can make important changes
A friend sent me this book when I really needed it and then I purchased a second one when I filled it out. It's very simple... Just a few short prompts in the morning and a few more in the evening. I found that it really helped me focus on the positive but also recognize that I'm in control and can make changes. I liked when the book explained that the question about how today could have been better forces you to consider things you can control, not the things you can't (such as "the weather was bad").

Brilliant!
Absolutely love this product! I have struggled with other journals and keeping up with them but with this one it is so easy! Not only does it give you the space to change your mindset but it also provides the information behind doing it!

Nice looking journal.
Really lovely looking journal, lots of stuff to read at the beginning before you start the journal. Part of my new year plan to improve my mental health and wellbeing unfortunately it just wasn't for me. Setting myself 'habits' each morning but then having to essentially evaluate how I got on with those habits at the end of each day made me feel a failure if I didn't manage them. No space anywhere to write how I was feeling about anything. After a week I was feeling frustrated and miserable and didn't even want to write in it anymore. I've since bought a different gratitude journal that I've got on much better with.

Great mindfulness journal
I don't usually write reviews but I really loved this diary and wanted to share. I'm very busy (like all parents I suppose!) but filling this out seems to take no time at all and it helps me to pause, consider the really important things in life and feel more grounded and happy. It proba ly makes me a better parent too! A great way to start and finish a day. Highly recommended. I'll be buying a few more copies for Christmas gifts!
