I purchased a protocol director drone first to practice with, since I'm new to flying drones. Then I saw the Vento on amazon, and decided to buy it as well.It's NOT a GPS drone, so in my opinion it's a great drone to practice with! Especially since you are bound to crash it a few times! Just be sure to keep it within 100 ft or less, or you'll lose it.I especially like the fact that the Company offers you 50% off on spare parts, with a coupon included in the box, which will absolutely come in handy!!Needless to say, I made good use of it!! So if you're looking for a reasonably priced drone to practice with, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.Also, I've read the negative reviews, but I've got to say some of these people are doing something wrong. Because I've called Protocols customer service and they are always willing to help you!!I definitely recommend this product!!

The drone is actually pretty nice, and flies smoothly, and is fairly easy to control/handle. The camera isn't very good, neither is the refresh rate on the phone's display. The VR headset comes with a little plastic harness used to hold your phone in place, but it's plastic is so flimsy that it breaks as soon as you try to expand it using the built-in spring lever. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me a replacement harness free of charge, but as soon as it came, I opened it up and the same thing happened to it- plastic snapped under very little pressure required to expand the spring and place the phone inside it.If you're looking for a good starter drone to fly around, this is a pretty good one, but if you're looking for a VR option, maybe spend a little more for one that's really meant for VR controlling.

Ok it flys fine and controls well. But the VR set came broken and the battery drains in like 3 minutes when your are trying to use the camera. The camera quality sucks, and the app you need to download to use the video feature is glitchy buggy and operates poorly. They give you protectors for your propellers but they don’t fit well and break easily. I am returning this and I just unboxed it 8 hrs ago.

happened upon this drone having never heard of the mfg. prev. just recently purchased a BETAFPV FPV Whoop Racing Advanced Kit for $200 & feel this drone is a much better value for money esp for beginners looking to try fpv! comes ready to fly although u will need a smartphone for the vr. actually bought another unit for my bro a mth later.

First of all, I got to say this is a fun little drone. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. It took a little bit to get used to flying it, but I quickly adjusted to all of its maneuverability and features. I used to fly RC planes so I have experience flying. I haven't flown in a long time and this was really easy to get used to, way easier than flying RC planes. Also the sound on it is really good.The only issues I have with this drone is that, #1-Only has 6 minutes of battery. #2-The video and photos aren't that great but it is as expected for the price. 3#-And I think my main issue would be that the camera doesn't angle down abit. That means you will have to fly at the exact height of the things you are filming or taking pictures of. You cannot take overhead pics, only straight ahead shots.So that's it. It's a fun little drone to fly around and take video and pictures. It's a perfect starter drone. I will be teaching my eight-year-old how to fly it. I think I'm already ready to move to a bigger and better drone.Good luck and good flying.

I love the drone because it works amazing and love flying it. But if you say there is a carrying case make sure the remote can also fit in the case.

I need more blades

Mine kept on breaking. Although the price was good it had limited range and broke often. Some of the ones that I ordered looked like they were repaired and repackaged.

Esta cómodo, fácil de instalar la app, es bueno para empezar a conocer este mundo de Drones, la cámara tiene poca definición pero es aceptable por el precio, puedo decir que es resistente ya que van 4 veces que lo estrello y sigue funcionando, trae hélices de repuesto.

Para los que estamos iniciando en los drones este dron se me hizo fácil de manejar, cuenta con un control remoto muy amigable que hace que lo puedas controlar fácil.
