Silent Hill Playing Cards

I read a few negative reviews of this card set... I don't get them. This is just a standard deck of playing cards that you could get anywhere, except with a dark, demented Silent Hill twist. This is meant to be nothing more than a cool-looking set of basic playing cards, so I don't understand why people would be so critical of them. I, for one, love them.The artwork (from "Silent Hill: Homecoming") is cool, although limited. (There's only two sets of artwork, one for the black suites and one for the red suites) That being said, the artwork is very interesting and unsettling.And the cards are very durable and solid. I've been using them for over a year now, playing solitaire and whatnot, occasionally some black-jack with friends, and they've held up- no warping or tearing or anything.I don't know what people expect, these are just meant to be a fun little knick-knack for Silent Hill fans. The cheap price should have made it clear that this isn't a serious collector's item, it's just standard playing cards with Silent Hill inspired images. I for one love these cards and am probably going to order another set. They're good quality and inspire a lot of conversations- Silent Hill fans think they're cool, and people unfamiliar with the series seem to like asking about them.

This deck of cards really dissapointed me, I just received them from amazon, and first of all, they are smaller than the regular deck, they are cheap looking, the designs are from just one of the silent hill games, they look boring, not enough monsters on the display... the nurse is nowhere to be found lol... the graphics are somewhat cartoonish (not scary looking like the game type of graphics) I'm giving this product two stars, just because the deck was complete... and it came in a box.... and, that's it.

I really love this deck. The only thing I am disappointed with is that each suite has the same exact images. They should have picked a different Silent Hill game for each suite. I know the game they chose had rehashed most of the more popular monsters, but it still feels like a missed opportunity to include other iconic characters.

Love the concept and overall idea. Cards are a real high quality and sturdy stock. Each card has a unique character based theme and has a nice glossy touch. Highly recommended for fans of Silent Hill or even collectors of playing cards.

High quality cards with some of your favorite Silent Hill good guys and baddies. Note that this card set is essentially based off Silent Hill 5, but has some other references to the previous Silent Hill games.

Sadly, both red suits have the same images as each other. Same for the two black suits. But there are jokers! I think the images are all from Homecoming.

This is for any Hard core silent hill fan durable beautiful playing cards and cheap price,i have never found andthing cool like this for silent hill memerabilia wich when i saw it i had to have it..i recommend this item to everyone.

These are normal cards for playing but with the artwork on them, I wouldn't use themfor playing. They'd eventually get torn and worn out. For Silent Hill fans or fans ofcreepy/dark/horry/scary stuff it delivers. Definately worth the buy.
