Blockhouse Bedbug Twin Fitted Mattress Cover

So pleased with this bedbug mattress cover! Picked my son up for holiday break from school. First thing we did before heading home was to put bedbug mattress cover on. My son spread the special powder around the perimeter of room. Bedbugs found in his dorm on next floor up and of course, all the kids are panicking. I want my kid to be safe. What drew me to this product was the “pesticide alternative” in the description.

This thing is literally just a (poorly) fitted sheet. It doesn't zip, or seal off in any way. It just works like any other sheet, without the comfort of a normal sheet. Meaning it offers absolutely NO protection from bed bugs.

This cover did not cover the entire mattress and is not zippered. I can't see how this is an adequate bedbug barrier. Also, it's significantly too large for the twin mattress.
