I had more trouble getting my key and the remote from my broken one. Fits perfect and works!!

When I placed an order the first time delivery was quick but the fob didn't fit, so I ordered the exact same one and wala perfect fit, I would definitely purchase again.

So this is my second of these, the first having lasted five months. But it was available Next Day, so I figured I'd try another one.The one I received today... was installed today.It broke... today.Returning and n-n-n-never getting this one again.

I bought my car used, and previous owners glued the key. So I played on the safe side, and called my local Lexus dealer. The one on the bottom is the one they sent. It cost me around $250 to have them to ship me a cut key with the remote. They also stated it would be a extra $75 to get it programmed. I saved that and done some research, and programmed it for the keyless and security system. Works great!!! Now with the original key being glued I wanted another working key. So I took it apart along with help of acrylic acid polish remover. I had to break the metal key part from the reset of the plastic, after I got the remote out. I let it set in the acrylic acid for a good hour. It soften it so I could take pliers at the corner to get the plastic off the end of the metal key. I ordered this one because of good reviews. Shipping was fast, and It looked just like the description. Get out your pliers due to your going to have to use it to push the metal key through. I had to leave the battery cover off due to it wouldn't close. Still after that there is a small gap at the bottom and the buttons are not flushed. Hey it is what it is. For a cheep price I got a complete working spare key. I wasn't out another $250.00 for a second key. In my opinion I wouldn't want to use this one all the time. Seems like with the way mine fit, that it would break eventually.

The collar that goes over the key to stabilize it in the fob would not go completely down the length of the key and thus could not be used. I stabilized the key of some Elmers glue and some thin cardboard shims to make it work.Additionally the sent and charged me for two, when I only ordered one.

This was a perfect fit. I need to order to more, just in case. Great product!!!!! Worth the price

Was selling my Lexus and thought I needed a replacement fob but turns out the "meat" of the old one was fine and I just needed a new shell. Very relieved to find quick and inexpensive solution.
