Pura Panela Box of Two - Dried Sugar Cane Juice. Natural Alternative to Refined Sugar

Love this sugar, more molasses in a way in taste, but doesn’t come out like molasses in coffee, delicious in drinks and for cooking, even a pinch in certain savoury dishes!

I am so happy I can have a traditional product from my country while living abroad! The two bags of panela arrived earlier than expected which made my day and the package felt like I was receiving a present :) PLUS they added a sample of another product; plantain chips with a chilli flavour. I must say that’s not the usual flavour I would expect when having plantain but I like trying new things, so why not ?! Overall, I recommend this product and I hope to see more Colombian-related items offered by the providers, e.g. buñuelos flour which I missed this Christmas. Oh and the expire date is very convenient, so you will have plenty of time to use your panela in any drink you like.

It is nice but too expensive and you have to use a lot at once to get the flavor in a drink.

It's delicious, I give it to my kids on their porridge or yoghurt and have convinced my parents to live longer and swap it in for their filthy sugar habit!
