Excellent Kit by EKWB
Excellent Kit by EKWB. Sure beats pricing out individual parts to set up a nice water cooling system. Each part was nicely package and organize. The only item in the box was a allen wrench which i am unsure what is for? And was never required for my installation. The manual listed as part of the CPU installation, I am guessing for some type of CPU which doesn't pertain to me. I have an LGA2011 Socket and installing the CPU block was no different than install any normal CPU cooling Fan or AIO blocks. Once I had all the components planed and laid out, I did a flush with distilled water to remove any particulates that may be in the system. The two only things I changed/added in the kit was the black tubing, and a addition of a cooling block for my Titan graphics card. The 240 radiator is perfect for this set up for cooling not only the CPU but the graphics card as well. When every thing was set up I preceded with filling the system. Ran the water cooling system for a good 24 hours and no leaks. Every thing went very well. The only thing I might change is the reservoir/pump acrylic clear tube. The reservoir acrylic tube is short, but works fine as it is not shown in my main chamber of my case for the Corsair 240. When I move up to the 540 or bigger case, I will be replacing the reservoir acrylic tube with a longer stack and like to display it out with the rest of the system. EKWB has the replacement acrylic tubes in various of sizes on their site, to bad it's not available here on Amazon.I love the kit, it gives me the flexibility to change and expand to my needs. Can't do that with AIOs, and I never like AIOs very much to begin with. Highly recommended.Pros:- Everything you need to get started.- The flexibility to change out or replace parts as needed.- The L240 is ready to except VGA cooling addition. EKWB recommends this size as a minimum if a VGA cooling will be used. The L360 would be better for maximizing performance, but you always can replace the radiator with a 360 size, and your good to go.- Everything is well built, it's EKWB after all.- Pump/Reservoir is PWM, very nice!- EK-Vardar F4-120ER Fans included for the radiator are PWM and just freaking just as good as my Noctua NF-F12's.- Easy to set up following the directions to the T.- CPU block looks good, I don't think I'll be replacing it.- Fitting's are great quality, no leaks and easy to install.- Packing of parts nice and organized.Con's:- Not really a con, but the pump/reservoir acrylic tube is on the short side, but can be replace to different sizes.- Supplied black tubing, don't know why they chose black? clear tubing would be nice instead.- For the pump/reservoir, it is supplied with a bracket for a bottom mount, would be nice for the side mounting bracket option.**** UPDATE 6/23/16Even though I had time over the months to expand my upgrades to EK's kit, I was impatient. I will surly be eating cheap ramen noodles for awhile. The kit is well worth it and as I said before expanding is limited to your imaginations. Added picture.- Move the entire system to the new Corsair 520 case,- New Motherboard is a MSi Carbon Gaming Pro X99A with RGB.- Added a second radiator EK-CoolStream PE 360 (Triple) from EK!, front of system. The original dual at the top.- Change the clear tubing from XPCS to PrimoFlex White.- Change the pump/res tube to EK-RES X3 - TUBE 250 (204mm)

Excellent value. Excellent hardware. Can't go wrong.
This kit is a ridiculously good deal. I priced out the same parts on EK's website and here's what happens. The radiator, pump/res combo, and CPU block are already more expensive than this kit. The kit includes those three things, plus 6 compression fittings, tubing, EK Koolant, EK Vardar fans, PWM fan header splitter, etc. If you want to watercool your rig, and you're on a budget, you would be crazy to not look into these kits. They are VERY worth it, even if you don't like something in the kit you can order that later and replace it. Go with the kit.EK's quality is superb by the way. One of THE best manufacturer's of watercooling hardware.

Nothing but problems
So this kit came with black tubing, I immediately ordered clear tubing. The fittings are for thick 16/10mm tubing and are very difficult to get onto the barbs. I replaced the fittings and tubing with 13/10mm and it was much easier to work with, but you do have to be more mindful of kinks with the thinner tubing. Next, I installed CPU and GPU water blocks, the pump, radiator and tubing and started my leak test. I found the pump was leaking at or near the outlet. I tried three different sets of fittings and still a slow drip was occurring near the outlet. A google search revealed that this has happened to others so I order a new SPC pump, still very expensive. I replaced the pump and started another leak test. This time the pump is working well, but I see water dripping from the CPU block at the base. I guess I could take the block apart and troubleshoot, but everything is going back. I have a new EVO CPU block coming and hopefully I won't have any more problems. For $300 (more like $600 with the GPU block and extras) I expect more when a $60 AIO can do everything without leaking except allowing a GPU block to be installed.

The EK L-240 is a great kit.
My second review. This was a great install that took me about an hour in total, that includes some mistakes on my part NOT the instructions fault. This was my first custom loop install and replaced a Corsair h80. The h80 is not up to speed in cooling an overclocked cpu.I installed the EK L-240 in a NZXT 440 case. I posted a review on the case and I don't like it for WC and OC.My mobo is a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 featuring an AMD 9370 CPU overclocked to 4790MHz. I installed an EVGA 1000watt G1 Gold+ PSU.On the case I have to remove the front and top panel, sure they can be modded but why. AnywayMy idle CPU temp is 32c I ran AMD Overdrive for an hour and the CPU got up to 65c the Vcore1 to 82c. It was stable. I have had the cpu up to 4.9MHz but system was not stable this is not the water cooler's fault but the lack of good chipset cooling.. That is what makes this kit shine over an AIO package like the H100 and the others is that I can add to the system when funds become available. Plans are for a different case, a Corsair 540 Air or a Thermaltake Core X5 case. I will then be able to add more radiators and WC my MSI GTX970 and perhaps the chipset using some universal blocks. The kit comes with the Supremacy MX water block, an pump/reservoir combo, 2 Vardar 120mm SP, (SP is for static pressure while AF is for Air flow for fans), fans. an SE 240 radiator, 30mm deep 100% copper, 12 feet of black ruber tubing. and all the hardware to fit this in your case. Oh and 100ml of liquid that you mix with 900ml of distilled water to make you coolant.Water cooling can become a fun hobby and the EK water cooling kits are an easy, though not the cheapest, solution to entry custom water cooling.Anyway I hope this helps you in your decision making custom water cooling loops.

Great product
I see reviews complaining about how tight the fits were but supposed to be like that so it doesn't leak. Great kit. Cooling my 1080ti OC'd and my 9700k @ 4.85hz no problem. There were extra shipping charges @ the boarder into Canada but EK took care of them.Great product and service.
