Screw stud not aligned
The ball knob is nice looking & the wood turning is good. The stud for installing on a post isn’t centered & isn’t square. Seems manufacturer would use a simple drill fixture to correct this.

Looks Great matches my existing Ball Tops - Just replace the stud
This worked well and matched my existing ball tops as Lowes and HD now carry another design that doesn't match. Had to patch up the rest as at this moment was only one of these in stock which was fine as one of mine had cracked beyond repair. Reason for the Four Stars? - the double ended stud screw or whatever its called will rust to nothing after a few years. I live in KY and the rain and rust start quickly. So I buy the 3/8" Stainless lag screws X 4" long and cut the heads off. Then open up the hole and epoxy the unthreaded end up inside the ball and back in business. Had a few done before and they last - the galv just rust away

Very bad quality!
Recieved this today and was very disappointed. Screw is very crooked, it's very rough, and some chunks knocked out. I don't have time to return and wait for a new one. My project was waiting for this one piece.

Had to swap hanger bolts for screws but these finials were just what I needed
Old 4 poster bed ended up with a broken post. Turned it into 2 posts and these 2 finials. I finally finished what I promised my wife I’d finish 4 years ago. Worked out great.
