Have used Metagenics products for years. Great product

Researched this supplement and gave it a try. Says it's for use for folks with normal cholesterol. Mine is elevated and I had a bad experience with statins (hair loss), so have been trying to manage with diet, exercise, supplements (this product) and fiber supplements. So far so good. I feel this is a good product. No experienced no adverse effects at all. Took as directed.

My doctor recommended this brand for lowering my cholesterol, but they are easily a third larger than the biggest pill in my supplement/medication regime. To make things worse, the rough coating makes them try to stick in my throat and esophagus when I swallow them. I generally don't have trouble with larger pills, but these are another level. I will continue to choke these down to make it through the very expensive bottle, but I won't repurchase.

I used this along with prescribed medication, as a synergistic medication, it normalized my high cholesterol after consuming one bottle. It helps if diet is also changed to healthy choices of fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, beans and less of meat. It works wonder for me.
