Good points & bad points
My company brought two of these devices to replace Netgear firewalls which just did not do the job. These are small but typically Cisco - you configure them using IOS command line (if you know what you are doing) or via Cisco Configuration Professional (not supplied with the units - I had to download it from Cisco's website). Like all "real" Cisco kit (I exclude the old Linksys from this) they are solid and do exactly what is said on the tin.However when we received these units one of them had not be initialised correctly; the initial default configuration had not been loaded into NVRAM; in fact the NVRAM had not been formatted at all! Fortunately I realised what the problem was and fixed it in a couple of minutes, but this was pretty poor quality control. This problem stops me from giving any more than 3 stars; otherwise I would have given a higher rating.
