Having looked at loads of these I opted for this one and I’m glad I did.I have four devices connected to including SkyQ, 4K Apple TV, Nintendo Switch, and a Blu Ray player. I’ve used similar devices in the past but have never been able to get full 4K or Dolby sound. However, this one seems to deliver on all levels. As seen in the photos I’ve attached, I manage to get 2160p 8 Bit picture resolution with Dolby Digital sound from my Sky Q, and 1080p HDR picture with Dolby Digital 5:1 sound from the Apple TV.When switching on Sky, the BluRay player or Switch, the picture automatically switches to the product I’ve switched on (no need to use the remote). However, to switch to/from Apple TV I usually need to use the remote. I’ve looked into it and found that this is an issue with the Apple TV hardware as opposed to the HDMI box. Apple are aware and are apparently addressing this when they release a new Apple TV later in 2020.Summing up, I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. It’s well build and does exactly what it says it will. The four inputs and the power lead are located on the back of the device, while the output HDMI is located on the side (see photo). I would have preferred all inputs/outputs at the rear, but I suppose that would have increased its size.I honestly can’t recommend this device enough.

I can't fault the quality of the picture or sound, and I believe it has next to no latency. So it does as described on the tin. However the cons I have with this:- My LG TV's volume-down button interferes with the switch's channel-selector. Use case: I'm watching something through the switch, it's too loud, I lower the volume, the input feed suddenly changes. I look for the switch remote, I go back, have to rewind the video I was watching the 15 seconds I spent getting up and finding the remote.- You can't manually select an input until it is receiving a feed. It's a minor gripe, but I'd prefer to not think about the sequence of events when turning on a device and setting the input.Update: the volume issue is getting increasingly frustrating. Downgrading my rating.

This is a great little device. It comes with a usb cable and power adaptor. Super easy to install. Switching works automatically but you can manually select also.I purchased this for my Xbox One X and PS4 to go into a splitter then a capture card and tv separately, works a charm and outputs to my receiver what is being displayed. No loss in image quality or audio. Works perfectly with higher res modes on both and no black screens like there is on some switchers. Highly recommended. The only thing that could improve it would be an integrated splitter. Build quality also excellent and robust.

I have 2 Duronic 3 Port HDMI Auto Switch Boxes on two separate installations with their Remote controllers.I have to say this is far superior to the Duronics. I have 4 appliances connected to my new SGEYR units. Sky box, Sony Home theatre, PS4 and Fire TV. Auto Switching between them is excellent though the Fire TV does not always switch automatically, perhaps because it's always on. Not too big a problem thanks to the very efficient remote control. By comparison the Duronic remote on both units is virtually useless. I have found those small flat remote controls, which I also have on other appliances, just don't cut it and I always have to resort to manual switching.Having tested the SGEYR on my setup, I have to say it is far superior, in virtually all respects. I would highly recommend it and will be replacing the second Duronic on my mother's setup shortly. A great product.

Having wasted money on two other Hdmi switches the SGEYR splitter appeared on my amazon search list. The switch is simple to set up, works extremely well and handles the combination of my laptop, a ps3, an Amazon firestick and a wii with ease. I also like how the output is at the side whilst the power and inputs are at the back, do it sits on a shelf looking tidy. The remote did not come with batteries however it works better than the others I brought.

With 4 devices plugged in (2x freeview PVR, a chromecast and a fire tv stick), the switch changes input source every few seconds making it completely unusable. Returned this for a refund and chose to use an equivalent device that did permit disabling of the auto-switch feature (by holding the switch button down for 5s).Picture quality etc is fine when a single device is plugged in but that defeats the purpose of having a switch. If product was improved to permit disabling of auto-switch then this 1* rating would change to 5*.

This is a well made product that feels like it will be durable. The remote control is a nice size and has large easy to use rubber buttons. Previous devices that I have bought to consolidate HDMI sources have had flimsy cheap and small remote which are easy to loose. Very happy with this product and of course delivery through Amazon Prime is always first class.

Mine had a broken remote control compartment. I've sent it back for a refund. However the item does work and worked well in 4K HDR 10 UHD with my PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC when I connected them to the splitter and plugged it in to my Samsung 4K UHD HDR 10 TV.
