Color:Midnight Black Meet the Galaxy S8+ - Infinitely Brilliant. The Galaxy S8+ has the world's first Infinity Screen, A screen without limits. The expansive display stretches from edge to edge, giving you the most amount of screen in the least amount of space. The revolutionary design of the Galaxy S8+ begins from the inside out. We rethought every part of the phone's layout to break through the confines of the smartphone screen. So all you see is pure content and no bezel. It's the biggest, most immersive screen on a Galaxy smartphone of this size. And it's easy to hold in one hand. The Infinity Display has an incredible end-to-end screen that spills over the phone's sides, forming a completely smooth, continuous surface with no bumps or angles. It's pure, pristine, uninterrupted glass. And it takes up the entire front of the phone, flowing seamlessly into the aluminum shell. The result is a beautifully curved, perfectly symmetrical, singular object. Capture life as it happens with the Galaxy S8+ cameras. The 12MP rear camera and the 8MP front camera are so accurate and fast that you won't miss a moment, day or night. Prying eyes are not a problem when you have iris scanning on the Galaxy S8+. No two irises have the same pattern, not even yours, and they're nearly impossible to replicate. That means with iris scanning, your phone and its contents open to your eyes only. And when you need to unlock really fast, face recognition is a handy option. You never really stop using your phone. That's why Galaxy S8+ is driven by the world's first 10nm processor. It's fast and powerful and increases battery efficiency. Plus, there's the ability to expand storage, and to work through rain and dust with IP68-rated performance.

Buyer beware.
What I like the most about the phone is that it was a unlocked phone but when I had it activated by T-mobile it work fine for a day unlimited data, talk, and texted. The second day I got a notice in notification screen that it needed a Verizon Sim card ,the phone became useless no talk no text. I reboot the phone and notice at start up a Verizon start up screen a peers. Is the phone locked or unlocked as advertised?

This is not a US version. No 4G on this phone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!
This is a Samsung phone. It came with AT&T instruction book. The description stated it was a US unlocked phone and it is not.The phone came and the default language was Dutch. Had to use google to translate so I could get it set.The phone will only only use 3g and 2G. 4G is not available.Do not purchase this phone if you are expecting a US version. Amazon should prevent fraudulent vendors like this from selling on their site.

Very disappointed, no US warranty.
Very disappointed with this purchase. No US warranty!Since I opened the box, the phone came with vertical marks on both edges. Very light marks but noticeable with the screen off.I passed that issue, but two days ago the screen glass broke on the botton edge without any apparent reason.I took the phone to an authorized shop to change the glass and the attendant told that it is an international version and don’t have warranty in the US. Really disappointed with this phone.Don’t know how Amazon let this type of products are sold in this site.

Great phone brand new - Don't buy "certified" refurbished
REVIEW ON BRAND NEW GALAXY S8 PLUS follows my summary of buying a certified refurbished phone...As a rule, I refuse to pay the insane prices that the most modern phones cost, so I always buy 1-2 models back. This time I decided to trust the "Amazon Certified" refurbished phones in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S8+. It was about $300 less than buying new. And, I figured, if they put their name behind it, they must have some requirements, otherwise it would just be regular refurbished, right? WRONG.My first refurbished phone arrived in one day, and it looked BEAUTIFUL! Not a scratch or scuff on it. I went through the whole rigamarole of switching it to my phone account, and transferring all of my information. I didn't think to make a phone call, other than to call my husband's phone and make sure it went through.Later, when people called me, I realized that the call speaker (the one that you put to your ear) was completely faulty. I could barely hear them talk, no matter what. I looked online and followed the trouble shooting solutions to the letter -- no dice.SO, I called Amazon and was told that they don't ship those, so they couldn't just replace it. (They did, however, assure me that I wouldn't lose my money, because they would refund it to me.)Instead, they sent a message to the actual Seller. While the Seller was very responsive, answering my queries (there were quite a few) immediately, my used phone ordeal was just that ... an ordeal. The Seller sent a replacement phone as soon as UPS had scanned in the return package, and I received it the next day. This time I made phone calls right away, and tried to pay more attention to everything. I went through all of the things necessary to transfer your stuff to a new phone, and it was great. Until...Over the weekend I noticed that I never had more than 2 bars of service, and no more than 1 bar of wifi connectivity. My husband - sitting about 8 feet away in the same living room - had full bars. I took screen shots at random intervals, in random places, throughout the weekend, then emailed them to the Seller on Monday. He apologized profusely, saying that it was definitely the phone, and he wanted to make it right. Now I was certain that I would have to fork out the extra dough to simply buy the phone NEW. He was happy to refund my money - AFTER he actually received the faulty phone back. Normally that would mean I couldn't buy the new phone until the refund was made, and that would be quite inconvenient. As it was, it took just over a week to see the refund.Fortunately, at that time I was able to pull the money out of savings to pony up the full price of a brand new phone of the same model. It took about a week or so to receive my refund.*** REVIEW ON BRAND NEW GALAXY S8 PLUS ***I ended up purchasing a brand new, factory unlocked GS8+, and I'm very happy with it.My previous phone was a GS6, and the S8 (while two models back) is a huge improvement over it. With modern technology keeping all of our stuff backed up to the cloud - including our phone settings - the time it takes to switch phones is, for the most part, ridiculously short.People who have previously reviewed the GS8 Plus complained that the "Plus" version is just large enough to make contact with the fingerprint sensor difficult. I'm a woman with small hands to match my small 5'3" stature. On the S8, the sensor is on the back of the phone, right next to the camera lense and flash.Truthfully, when the phone is naked (you know, when you catch it right out of the shower, or sun bathing in the back yard), you will feel around and around without finding the sensor. That's because all three of those things are flush with the phone, so you can't tell what's what. When you put it into a case, however, it's a sure thing to hit the sensor every single time. That's because the case (I have a thin, minimalist case) is cut out quite accurately.Because I have small hands, I commonly hold my phone with both of them, so reaching my right hand around to the fingerprint sensor is comfortable, and I never miss. In fact, I never miss even when I'm holding the phone only in my right hand. I have, however, programmed in three different fingerprints so that I can touch the sensor with either hand. The facial recognition security unlock works very well. What this means is that I don't necessarily need to use the fingerprint sensor. When you pick up the phone and it "sees" you, it unlocks. Just remember that you can only log one face at a time. If you have your glasses on for that, it won't recognize you at night when you have your glasses off. This phone has the edge-to-edge screen that makes it look so much bigger than a phone that's the same size, with a black frame around the screen. The colors are bright, and the auto-adjust for the screen output actually works very well (I normally kept that turned off in my previous phones). This is the first time that I've purchased a *factory unlocked* phone - and I'm HOOKED! What this means is that it doesn't have any of the phone provider's bloatware! OMG - so much space that I hardly know what to do with it! I'm thinking about creating a SheShed in there! (Ok, maybe there's not *that* much room.) This means that the phone can work without getting bogged down with those apps that you can't remove, even with a shovel.I'm super happy with my GS8+ phone -- now that I bought it NEW and FACTORY unlocked!

Wrong description of the product and model number is wrong too
This product is not US version nor having any US warranty. Also model number mentioned is different than mentioned in phone settings. Amazon should blacklist this type of sellers. (VIPOUTLET). If this is mistake by Amazon, Amazon should be sued for manipulation. When i tried to register this phone, i got following message:"Possible reasons for the error include serial/IMEI number is not valid, product is older than 3 years, product was purchased outside the U.S."

the phone is brilliant. Sharp display
Ordered this device while Harvey was ongoing. There was a slight delay, but that was inevitable due to the inclement weather. Arrived within the time frame and Amazon notified me, as and when there were delays. The device was grouped with the Case and Screen Protector that I had ordered, which was very convenient. Packaging was secure which is expected for this device at such a price range.Overall, the phone is brilliant. Sharp display, clear camera images with AF. It runs all apps like a breeze and is well suited for heavy multitasking. The bezel-less display is a joy to look at and reading on it is very comfortable. It also ships with USB (B to C) and (A to C) adapters, which helps during our transition to USB C type plugs. The battery life is amazing, for a phone with such a sharp and bright display, and also considering the hardware. The 3500mAh battery offers enough juice for an entire day of light usage. Heavy use - like watching movies or playing games like Real Racing, etc. drains it faster, but that is expected from demanding apps. The issue of the fingerprint sensor being too close to the camera is real for the first few days; but after using it as your daily driver, you tend to figure out where it is and it doesn't pose much of a bother, unless you deliberately want to smudge your camera lens.I would highly recommend this device to anyone with a moderately high budget. It looks amazing and performs much better than it looks. I would also recommend to get a protector case (the rear side is a fingerprint magnet and you wouldn't want to crack this amazing display) and a screen protector. To all those having second thoughts, I would say: Go for it!
