battery is fine, tool kit unnecessary purchase
The battery is fine, not an original Samsung. I purchased it only to replace the one that came in my certified reconditioned phone immediately on purchase. The tool kit is a waste of time and money if you can purchase the battery alone at a lesser price. As I learned, removing a battery from an S*+ is not easy, even with YouTube video instructions. I had no idea my phone warranty could be voided by me or another non-certified person replacing the battery. I took it to a small certified computer company to open and replace. Their work was covered in case of case breakage or phone damage.

Works great! Easy to install.
It was easy to install after watching some video tutorials. There is just one complain I have with this item. It’s advertised as being a 3700mAh battery but after I installed it in my phone and turned my phone on, my phone is reporting that it’s only a 3500mAh battery. I also tested it with a few battery info apps and they also report that it’s only a 3500mAh battery. Why is it not showing that it’s a 3700mAh battery if that’s what it’s supposed to be?

Product was pretty easy to install with the tools provided. Product seems to be a fairly good replacement. I definitely see a dramatic improvement over the previous battery.

Battery
UPDATE: I just received the new battery and reinstalled it and it powered on. I'm thinking the previous battery was faulty but customer service sent me a replacement. So far I'm happy with it.I just received the order on 11/30 and installed it on 12/4. It is now 12/23 and it wont charge at all. I will be contacting the company since I did go with this one for the 3 year warranty. Once I hear back and/or the problem is fixed I will edit my rating.

Good replacement kit
Good replacement. Battery lasts less after a month of use, however, it is better than the 2 year old OEM .

Buy original battery if possible, all other knockoff batteries for any products that require one are never as good as the original.
