Rite in the RainWeatherproof Copier Paper, 8.5" x 11", 20# Tan, 200 Sheet Pack (No. 9511T)

This product does what it claims to do at a reasonable price. In any ordinary rain or moisture conditions, it will work extremely well.I torture-tested this paper as follows:Laser-printed standard 12-point text & gray-scale photos on a sheet, also wrote in ink (using the special Rite In the Rain waterproof pen, not included, purchase it separately) and in pencil on the reverse side.Then, I put the finished printed sheet in a bowl of hot water (140 degrees F or so) with some dish detergent, and crumpled it into a ball. I scrubbed the paper against itself and my fingers for close to a minute, until it was totally wrinkled and saturated. The paper resembles US dollar bills in wet strength -- very tear-resistant, requires real effort to rip even if wet.Upon unfolding, about 50% toner & ink density was gone, but it was still possible to read the material without much difficulty. Moreover, I could still write on the paper with the special pressurized-reservoir waterproof ink pen or an HB-hardness pencil, without tearing the sheet.If you carefully flatten out a soaked, crumpled, soapy sheet on a hard surface and use a kitchen scrubber, you *can* remove *almost* every last trace of ink or pencil -- but not all of it, there is still a shadow of the original left, even after this extreme test.

RITR paper is very tough and rain-resistant, but it still has its limits. I enclosed some of it inside a Ziploc bag in a pants cargo pocket and forgot about it, then had to do a creek crossing in water, waist deep. A little bit of water leaked through the zipper on the bag without my immediately noticing it. When I found out later on, everything in my bag was a mess. The RITR paper was pretty disheveled too and a lot of the ink had begun to run. But I set it aside and let it air dry, and it was good to go, again.

I use this paper to make labels for my plants. Whenever water is splashed onto the paper, it just beads right off, which is great for my purpose!

This paper fed smoothly in our photocopier. The print resolution rendering was excellent even printed two-sided. The paper was water resistant in the field both in terms of toner adhesion and the tan color of the paper itself. It was also fairly abrasion resistant during field use. So I was completely pleased with this paper!

We bought these for printing recipes in the kitchen. Now we don't have to worry about getting a page wet.

Great Product! I use this paper when making sniper data log books for riflemen. I photo copy my information right to the Rain Rite paper using a copy machine. This works great & makes a decent looking data book.

...and the tan color color is perfect for may needs - much better than plain white when used in the field for forms that are practical and durable.
