Magic Wool Fairies: How to make seasonal angels and fairies

I bought this book after making my first wool lady at work. I found the process a totally relaxing and therapeutic experience...but keep in mind that I am a very creative individual and I have always loved doing crafts since childhood, so this might not apply to everyone as we are all different. I love the look and feel of this book. It is printed on matt paper and being a photographer that is my choice of paper, and the instructions are presented in a way that makes sense to me, the way my brain works. It is a great introduction to working with wool tops and felting needles, and it opens up plenty more of your own creative ideas to do. Yes I am very pleased with the purchase of this book. So thank you to Christine Schäfer, the author for publishing it.

I love fairies and angels and this book covered them with the addition of wool felting so I was very happy. Clear precise instructions, that are easily followed. Would certainly recommend this to friends.

Nice pics but two basic versions, the second becoming the repeat in various guises for the rest of the book. A bit of a "one trick pony" tbh. Would have preferred more technique detail, as I can always hit up Insta for ideas and variations. Not the best book to earn it's keep on the shelf

An excellent book for making fairies. Lots of pictures of different colours and accessories but the fairies are all on similar lines regarding size and shape. Ideas for different wing shapes and has different stages of difficulty from fairly easy upwards. Well written instructions.

I waited ages to receive this book so was a little disappointed when it finally arrived and I attempted to make something from it. As a complete beginner the designs are quite ambitious - so I'll leave it until after I've had some practice. Back to YouTube for me to get some practice in before I revisit this book.

This is a fantastic book. Great instructions and I browse it often just admiring the pictures. I've successfully made a small fairy from this book. Brilliant, well worth the money.

If I never make anything from this book, it would still have been a worthwhile purchase for the stunning feast for the eye provided by the pictures. However, I do expect to make good use of the fabulously clear, step by step photographed instructions. As an experienced dollmaker, I am delighted by the beautiful results that can be achieved with such a simple technique and by the appropriacy of fairies made of magic wool! I can see how they can be easily adapted to make any kind of decorative doll. This book is a must have for any dollmaker's collection ... and coffee table.

Lovely book. Haven't made one yet but the instructions are clear and they don't appear too difficult. Hopefully they will be easier than my last crafting experience of felting. My felted mouse looks more like a sperm!
