Kool- Stride Special Needs Stroller

Excellent stroller and top notch customer service. I was hesitant to buy this stroller because of the price but I am so glad that I made the investment. My special needs son loves going for walks in the stroller and it is both sturdy and easy to pack up and put in the car. We had a minor mistake with our order but when we contacted the seller they fixed it immediately.

1. The stroller was delivered earlier than estimated and was as described - good.2. The price stated at Amazon did not include shipping even though I have prime - bad.3. Assembly minimal. Just mount the quick release wheels. Unfold and go!4. We have taken two decent length hikes with this stroller now. One along a beach boardwalk (Pismo Beach ~2mi.) and one along the Bob Jones Trail (Avila Beach, CA~4mi.)5. Unfolding and mounting wheels is easy. Entry/Exit loading passenger fairly easy. Seat Belt/restraint OK but the between leg strap makes belt release difficult. Seating comfortable. Sunshade effective and easy to put up and down. Fits in the trunk of our Tesla easily with no problem. Light enough to lift with minimal effort.6. Rolls with very little effort on level and slight up slope and down slope trails. Obviously the steeper the harder to push up but on the trails we walked which includes some moderately steep hills it was no problem at all. (My wife is 5'3" and weighs about 115 dressed). It was easy to bring along extra jacket and camera equipment in the bottom carrier. Parking brake arrangement is adequate with a front wheel brake and a quick release strap for blocking one rear wheel. The stroller tracks nicely but steering requires some effort for any significant turn. Gradual turns can be handled through side pressure on the push handle. Significant turns require down pressure on the handle to reduce load on the front wheel - or in the case of sharp turns lift the front wheel. This makes steering in tight areas a bit tedious. The most difficult part of using the stroller is on steep downhills - you have to be very careful to keep it from rolling too fast. There is a hand strap that should be around the wrist in case you loose your grip - use it!7. At about $1500. with shipping and tax, this is an expensive purchase. I have found that for us it is worth it to be able to do the walks with my wife that we routinely did before her breathing problems. Every individual situation is different. The one star reduction is for the streering difficulties and the high price. The quality is good and I expect it should last for some years.

We live in a rural area. This stroller makes it possible to take my daughter outside, just about anywhere we want to go. Over gravel, rough terrain it does great. It would be bulky to take into stores or tight spaces, but we have another stroller for that use. Overall I would highly recommend this.

I am extremely disappointed in this stroller. I have used a variety of strollers over the years for my son, now 14 (but small). Loved BOB strollers until he outgrew them, them used a Special Tomato stroller until he also outgrew it. The front wheel and brake on this Kool Stride perform very poorly. Out of the box the front well did not track straight and the brake rubbed the front wheel. Correcting the tracking error has been extremely difficult and I haven't yet solved the problem of the brake rubbing the tire. I wish I had tried another stroller!

This item is great. My daughter is 5'4" and it fits her. I really like how it handles on walks. It is hard to maneuver around turns but ovee all it is a Kool strolled

This jogger has been a life changer!! We’ve used it hiking National Parks, State Parks, nature trails, beaches, and golf courses for the past four years and loved it!! (Not meant for soft sand.) My daughter is 5’2” and 115 lb. and even used it cheering on the football field. We are so thankful to have had our Kool Stride and highly recommend one if you love the outdoors. We only had to call customer service once in four years when the canvas seat seam came loose. Outstanding customer service!

Superior customer service!! Order shipped the same day after I ordered it, extremely professional and courteous staff who will go out of their way to help u. Assembly is extremely simple, stroller is very well built, our son is 10 years old and has ample room to grow before outgrowing this stroller. If in need of a product like this go with kool stop!!

Received this for my special needs son and he loves it! It's great on rough terrain. Wanted to use for doctor appointments but it's very long to take into an office. Only complaint is that the front wheel doesn't turn. Also takes up a lot of space in a vehicle.
