Great bubbling foot bath
The media could not be loaded. This foot spa is great! If you're looking for a simple inexpensive way to soak your feet, this will suit you just fine. The price (around $35 at the time of this review) is affordable, and it sure beats sticking your feet in a bucket. I looked at some other products around $20 that are basically just a foot-shaped bucket. I bought this one instead due to the bubbling feature. The bubbles are nice and provide a much more spa-like experience than foot baths without them. The bubbles come out of the vertical purple lines you see on the bottom in the middle of each foot space. There is a button you can hit with your foot on the top/middle of the unit (yes, it can get wet!) that turns on the bubbles and warmer. I didn't notice much difference from the warmer feature which is supposed to keep the hot water you put in heated longer. So, next time I just poured hot water into the bath and didn't hit the bubble/warmer button. I noticed the water cool off about 4-5 minutes sooner without the bubbles/warmer on. You must start with hot water as this wont heat your water, but it does keep it warm a little while longer. The roller and pumice stone in the middle of the unit are nice and feel good on the feet, but are a little awkward to use. The additional tools such as the toe separators, brush, and nail clipper are super cheap and you could purchase them for a couple of dollars elsewhere, but they were nice to receive as a free bonus and came with a cute little purple drawstring bag. I purchased some Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt (eucalyptus spearmint scent) here on Amazon and I put in about 2/3 cup of it with my hot water each time I use it (I highly recommend it, it smells AMAZING!). My feet feel soft, clean, and moisturized after using this foot spa- what a great way to pamper yourself at home. It is plenty big enough for my women's size 10 feet, and my husband's size 13 wide men's feet also fit just fine with room to spare. A couple of words of caution: use a bucket to carry hot water from the faucet to the foot bath. Don't try to fill the foot bath with water and then carry it, unless you want to slosh it all over your floor! Also, don't fill it over the "fill' line, not even a little tiny bit. The bubbles will erupt everywhere and get your floor all wet when you turn it on! Trust me, keep it below the fill line. Finally, it makes a humming noise because of the motor needed to make the bubbles go. I set mine on a towel to keep it from rattling around on the floor, and that quieted it quite a bit. I did see some reviews saying it was way horribly noisy, but I don't think its noisier than expected. Yeah, I can hear it running and hear the bubbles kind of similar to how a hot tub sounds. I just turn the TV volume up a couple of clicks higher!

Does The Job So Well
I just got this foot spa today. So far, I LOVE it! The bubbling does not get water on the floor. You CAN use oils in the water. The instructions say you MUST wash the basin with a little gentle soap, rinse well and dry if you add oils to the water. You shouldn't add water above the fill line. With the water at the fill line, the water came halfway up my ankle bones (I'm a 5'3" female). THIS SPA DOES NOT HEAT THE WATER. You must put hot water in the spa, set it on the floor, sit down and put your feet in, then press the On/Off button. The heater keeps the water warm. Instructions say not to run the spa more than 20 minutes because it will burn out the motor. The manufacturer recommends 10 minutes because that's enough time to relax and refresh your feet. I set a timer for 15 minutes and by that time, I was ready to get my feet out. Some people have asked if a man's size 13 foot would fit in the spa. I measured and the length is 13" and the width at the narrowest point is 4" on each side.Because of the little holes that allow the water to bubble, you should not put epsom salts or other granular products in the spa. I use Pedifix to control toenail fungus. Pedifix is epsom salts with tea tree and peppermint oils and it is FANTASTIC! It smells great, opens your sinuses, soothes your feet AND manages fungus. After 2 days of soaking my feet in a plastic box of hot water and Pedifix, the fungus disappeared.Today, my foot spa arrived. Instead of adding the Pedifix directly to the spa, I heated a cup of water in the microve and put the Pedifix in the cup to dissolve the granules. Not all of it dissolve so I used a fine sieve while pouring the mixture into the spa. There is no cure for toenail fungus, but you can manage it by using the foot soak with Pedifix. Before soaking, use a nail file/emery board to sand the nails on each affected toe. Really sand, getting to the cuticle and sides of nail beds. Wipe off the dust. Apply tea tree oil to each nail after sanding. (Tea tree oil opens up the "pores" in the nail, allowing anti-fungal products to pass through the nail to the nail bed. The fungus lives UNDER the nail.) Let the tea tree oil stay on the nail(s) for about 15 minutes. Then use your foot spa with 1-2 teaspoons of tea tree oil (and peppermint oil, if desired) added to the hot water. Or, add one packet of Pedifix (dissolved as described above) to the hot water. After soaking in the spa for 15 minutes, dry your feet VERY WELL with a towel. The dry with a warm hair dryer or aird dry for 15 minutes. Apply ProClearz liquid with the brush provided. If possible, do not wear socks, slippers or shoes. (If you soak at night, go to bed and for the nest 8 hours, the fungus is deprived of moisture, which helps kill it.)Whenever possible, wear sandals (without socks). If you wear sneakers, buy the mesh kind instead of leather. The mesh allows moisture to escape.I plan to use my spa once a day. I'll update this post if the unit dies in less than once year. Hope this helps.

I use it as a bucket for bathing my feet. You could use other buckets but this one looks professional. I like it. You could argue that they are expensive for a bucket. But that is up to you.Love the kit included. It is useful and has a bag of matching colors.Spa function is so so... just like any other spa bucket. You can't expect it to work as if some real human being is massaging you. That is simply unrealistic expectations.I would recommend it. I personally like it. But I am not so price-sensitive when it comes to small purchases... so I could be wrong maybe it is not worth it. Who knows. The quality is good and the bubbles feel good and it has a place to rest my feet when the water is too hot (this function is more useful than you thought, trust me).

Ahhhhh,so relaxing!
This was worth every penny. The bubbles are very relaxing for your tired feet. Easy to use and clean. I like the little bag of extras that you get,it includes a good pair of nail clippers, toenail separators and a pumice stone. This does not keep the water warm, but I just filled it with warmer water and it didn't get cold until about 15 minutes later. I also have been using epsom salts in it and it is fine, just make just that it is dissolved before started it and clean very well after every use. This was the price for me because at my drug store they were selling it for $45.95 without taxes.

Fantastic!
My wife is a hairstylist, and I work on my own from my home office. I'd feel awful when she'd get home from a long 8-10 hour shift which typically involves standing ALL day. She'd always complain about foot cramps, calluses, and overall pain. I picked this up without hesitation; primarily because of the reputation the Dr. Scholl carries in respect to footcare. It certainly didn't disappoint, because I even use it from time to time myself!Pros:- Perfect size, I wear a size 13 shoe and was surprised that my feet fit so well.- The white circle is just like a pumice stone (or is a pumice stone, I have no idea!) and is great for removing calluses and dead skin.- The bottom is 'bumpy' and feels great when moving back in forth in the water. The purple thing under the pumice stone is pretty cool as well, I've never used it but my wife does.Cons:- The water doesn't stay warm for long, but it's not a water heater so that's to be expected.- The vibration function is quite loud.. I know some people like to use these while watching TV, and I'm not sure how well that'd work. Most of it's use is in the bathroom though, so it's not much of an issue.

Not bad but i agree it's a fancy bucket
Not bad but i agree it's a fancy bucket. The "heat maintaining" feature doesn't really maintain heat. The water cools down quite noticeably after about ten minutes. I like the bubbles - they are soothing when my feet are in the water but the soothing feeling doesn't have a lasting effect once they're out of the water.

FEATURES: 3.5/5==============Keeps warm water warm for a good 10-15 minutes. Note that you must put in warm water to begin with, this product will NOT raise the temperature of the product. The feet vibrator is a nice bonus, but does not make the product better or worse.DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP: 1/5===========================I was skeptical about the noise complaint from other reviews, but they are correct, it is extremely noisy! The material is cheap plastic and the construction is not dummy proof. There are numerous safety precautions as to not hurt yourself, or break the product. If you follow them all, you may be able to use it a second time.PRICE: 4.5/5==========It is functional - it keeps the water warm and vibrates your feet. You will not find a cheaper price. If you want a supersonic system that is very durable, be prepared to pay 5-10 times more.OVERALL: 3/5============I hesitate to use this product every time I pull it out for a pedicure. It does get the job done, but equivalent to having a foot bath or pedicure at a construction site.
