The Little Yellow Leaf

Had this reading at our wedding, Wanted something more then a scrap of paper for it to be read from, the book worked great. Afterwards our guests passed it round and signed it for us which was a lovely surprise gift/use

Very gentle and beautiful story, poetical exploring the theme of autumn leaves dropping from the trees. Lovely illustrations. Just thought it was expensive.

This is a lovely children's book with beautiful illustrations and a wonderful message. My flower girl read an extract from this book at my wedding.

I give this book 5 stars because it is so beautiful. The illustrations are exquisite. It's just such a lovely little book. My sister is reading it at my wedding.

This is just SUCH a beautiful book. The collage-based illustrations are gorgeously coloured, engagingly complex, and apparently fun to examine at length (my toddler will happily stare at one page for some time). The text is simple, lyrical, charming, alliterative, and very pleasing to read aloud. A simple seasonal story, stylishly told, and a nice (though non-moralistic, and lightly done) message about life being easier with friends and everyone coming to things in their own time. It arrived a week ago and we have read it several times a day.
